Week 2 was certainly one to forget with all the injuries across the league. Unfortunately, we did have some QBs go down with injuries. On a positive note, we should see some team’s top targets like Kenny Golladay and Chris Godwin returning to action. We also had some bad performances that were non injury related. Tom Brady certainly let us down in a prime matchup against the Panthers, and Carson Wentz has looked flat out bad through two weeks. You have to have some concern with guys you drafted as starters such as Brady, Wentz and Brees. Their recent struggles have landed them lower than expected in the Week 3 Quarterback rankings.
Say what?! Your fantasy football league isn’t using Fantrax this season? Unthinkable! Check out all the features Fantrax has to offer, and we think you’ll be singing a different tune for the coming season.
There were plenty of streaming options in Week 2 that finished inside the top 12. The question with streamers is, did you have the courage to start them over who you drafted? There are some guys who will enter that conversation in Week 3. Matthew Stafford is someone who may be available in your league and is one of my favorite streaming options for Week 3. He should have his full array of weapons and will have to do all he can to keep up with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals high-flying offense.
Late-round draft picks such as Gardner Minshew and Cam Newton have shown us through two weeks, they belong in the top 12. They will look to cement their positions as QB1s going forward by taking advantage of good matchups in Week 3. You may be in a scenario where you are holding two quarterbacks, this week should give us further indication on who is worth starting regardless of matchup.
