Injuries left their mark on the quarterback position in Week 9. Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, and Tua Tagovailoa all failed to suit up. As of this writing, it’s unclear if any of them will be able to start in Week 10, so be sure to monitor their health status during the week. In other news, Tom Brady will return from his bye week and should continue to dominate. He’s a top-three option in my Week 10 quarterback rankings.

Week 10 Quarterback Notes
Week 10 Byes: CHI, CIN, HOU, NYG
Dak Prescott struggled in his return against the Broncos last week, throwing for 232 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He should be able to rebound in Week 10 in a plus matchup against Atlanta and is a top-five quarterback for me this week.
Russell Wilson was cleared to return in Week 10. He’s a back-end QB1 this week against the Packers.
Carson Wentz continues to roll. He’s a top-10 quarterback this season and has a 14:2 TD:INT ratio in the past six weeks. He gets a favorable matchup this week against the Jaguars and should finish as a QB1.
Derek Carr is coming off a down game against the Giants in Week 9. However, he gets a chance to rebound this week in a tasty matchup against the Chiefs. The Chiefs are allowing the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, and the game will likely be a shootout. I like Carr’s chances to bounce back this week.
Matt Ryan played lights out in Week 9 against a tough Saints defense. He threw for 343 yards and two touchdowns. He also chipped in a rushing touchdown to pad his fantasy stat line. Ryan gets an easier opponent this week against the Cowboys, who are giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. He’s a strong streamer in Week 10.
Taylor Heinicke also makes for a solid streamer this week. He’s coming off a bye and will get a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay. Heinicke should benefit from a positive game script in this one, as the Football Team will likely be playing from behind.
Sam Darnold will miss several weeks with a fractured scapula. P.J. Walker will take over while he’s out, and is only an option in deeper leagues.
