For Week 9, I recommended Taysom Hill against the Falcons, Tua Tagovailoa against the Texans, and Carson Wentz against the Jets. Unfortunately, news came out late last week that neither Hill nor Tagovailoa were ready to start, which is a limitation of this article coming out each Thursday morning. However, Wentz at least produced a strong top-five fantasy quarterback finish in the Colts’ blowout win over the Jets.
Overall, Week 9 offered some fine options for fantasy GMs who eschewed drafting a quarterback early and have been streaming the position. If you drafted Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson early or managed to snag Tom Brady or Matthew Stafford later on in your drafts, this article probably isn’t for you. But if you’ve been streaming quarterbacks or have Joe Burrow on bye this week, here are some viable Week 10 quarterback streamers with good matchups who can help your fantasy team win this week.

Week 10 Quarterback Streamers
Check out our Week 10 Rankings: QB | RB | WR | TE | PPR | Flex
Note: The below quarterback streamers are the “best of the rest”, meaning that they’re generally rostered in less than about 60-65 percent of major fantasy football platforms at the time of this writing even after waivers have run on Wednesday.
Carson Wentz (56% on ESPN, 67% on Yahoo)
Through nine weeks, Carson Wentz is the No. 10 fantasy quarterback, and he’s passed for multiple touchdowns in every game dating back to Week 4. In fact, Wentz hasn’t thrown a single interception outside of their two losses to the Titans this year. He’s made exceptionally poor decisions at times this season, but from a fantasy perspective, Wentz has the highest floor among this week’s quarterback streamers and a fair ceiling as well.
And although the Jaguars completely shut down the Bills’ offense this past Sunday, holding them to just six points, that defensive showing was an exception to how they’ve played this season, not the norm. Even after not having allowed Buffalo to score a single touchdown, Jacksonville’s pass defense ranks dead last in DVOA through the first half of the season. With T.Y. Hilton potentially back from concussion protocol as well to further boost this thriving Indianapolis passing attack, Wentz should have another strong fantasy outing this week.
Matt Ryan (48% on ESPN, 62% on Yahoo)
The Cowboys’ defense looked much improved to open the season, but the cracks showed in the blowout loss to the Broncos this past week. Dallas’s defense has lived off turnovers this year, having forced 11 interceptions and three fumbles in eight games. But over that span, the Cowboys have still allowed the 12th most total yards per game to opponents along with the eighth-most passing yards per game.
On the other side, the Falcons’ offense is starting to click after a disastrous start to the year where they failed to score a single touchdown against the Eagles. From Week 2 onward, Matt Ryan has averaged 285 passing yards per game and has thrown for multiple touchdowns in each game but one. Even with Calvin Ridley out, Ryan is among the top quarterback streamers for this week in what could be a shootout, as Vegas projects 54.5 total points scored in this contest, the highest total for any Week 10 game.
Taylor Heinicke (14% on ESPN, 13% on Yahoo)
Coming out of the bye, Washington will look to get things back on track. Taylor Heinicke has been inconsistent in his starts this year, but this is another game that figures to be high-scoring on both sides. Vegas projects 51.5 total points scored in this matchup, and with Washington allowing the most passing yards per game this year through nine weeks, Heinicke & co. will likely need to throw a lot to keep up with an efficient Tampa Bay offense.
It also helps that Logan Thomas could return for this game, possibly giving Heinicke a more reliable no. 2 pass-catching option behind Terry McLaurin. And despite the ups and down for Heinicke as a passer this season, he’s logged the sixth-most rushing yards among quarterbacks. Heinicke is the most risk/reward option among this week’s quarterback streamers, but the possibility remains that he could recreate the magic from last year’s narrow playoff loss to the Buccaneers in which he logged 352 yards from scrimmage and two total touchdowns.
Honorable Mentions
In deeper leagues, if none of the above-recommended quarterback streamers are available, Teddy Bridgewater could have another nice week against the Eagles, though there’s risk of Melvin Gordon or Javonte Williams running in the touchdowns when they get close to the end zone. And if you’re desperate, Trevor Lawrence could be a serviceable option against an underperforming Indianapolis secondary that’s allowed six passing touchdowns over the last two weeks.
