If you’re reading this, you’ve probably made the playoffs. Congrats! It also means that by now, you know the drill. Picking a defense matters. So let’s get into it. Having to plug kickers and defenses into your fantasy lineups is one of the worst parts of fantasy football. Especially when you get beat because of it. But you get what you get, and you don’t get upset. So, let’s take a look at three potential defenses that could score you some points. There’s no reason you can’t be the one who wins their matchup because of their defense, right? Let’s see if my Week 15 D/ST streamers can help you do just that.

Dallas Cowboys Defense
Two names: Micah Parsons and Diggs. One opponent: New York Giants. That should be all you need to convince you to start this defense, if you have the opportunity. Parsons is piling up the sacks and is rumbling his way to a defensive rookie of the year award, and possibly the overall defensive player of the year. Diggs should have no problem picking off Mike Glennon, if he’s tested. On top of that, the Cowboys offense is strong enough to take Saquon Barkley’s rushing threat out of the game, through taking a big lead. Start the Cowboys defense with confidence.
Arizona Cardinals Defense
I’m going back to the well, friends. Find your nearest NFL schedule, look at Week 15, find the Detroit Lions’ opponent, and start that defense. There’s a reason the Lions only have one win. In fact, there are many reasons why the Lions only have one win. I don’t anticipate them doubling that statistic against the Cards.
Houston Texans Defense
The Jags just fired Urban Meyer after the news leaked that he kicked (???) Josh Lambo, the team’s kicker. I don’t know if that’s the last straw, or the magnitude of the transgression was just so severe that it warranted firing. But it doesn’t matter. He’s gone now. The Jags, however, aren’t a two win team because Urban Meyer is a bad coach. They’re a two win team because they lack the competitive talent in a rebuild to compete. I expect them to lack an identity with their new/interim coach. I don’t know who will get snaps, start, etc. I don’t think it’s wild to expect further dysfunction this week. Houston’s defense is worth the flier.
