I know, I know. Having to plug kickers and defenses into your fantasy lineups is one of the worst parts of fantasy football. Especially when you get beat because of it. But you get what you get, and you don’t get upset. So, let’s take a look at three potential defenses that could score you some points. There’s no reason you can’t be the one who wins their matchup because of their defense, right? Let’s see if my Week 8 D/ST streamers can help you do just that.
What!? Your league isn’t hosted on Fantrax!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune next season.

Los Angeles Rams Defense
The Rams defense has been on a roll lately scoring at least 8 points in their last three matchups. That trend should continue against the lowly Houston Texans. Tyrod Taylor potentially coming back in Week 8 could throw a wrench into the plan, but if the Rams can get out to an early lead (they will), and force the game script to a passing-only attack, then they should have no problem getting sacks and picks. Between Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, the Rams might have two of the top two defensive players in the league.
Carolina Panthers Defense
I’m not buying the Atlanta Falcons being any type of good. Kyle Pitts has had two very good games. That’s not enough to scare me away. The Falcons have a weak running game, and a weak defense. Whether Sam Darnold or PJ Walker is behind center for Carolina, I’m feeling confident they will be able to get out to an early lead and shrink the Falcons playbook. I’m expecting a dominant bounce-back game for the Panthers.
Philadelphia Eagles Defense
The Eagles are playing the (winless) Detroit Lions. It’s as simple as that, really. Fantasy football doesn’t need to be as hard as we make it!
