This is the last week of the regular season for most fantasy teams. Are you still in the hunt to make the playoffs? Looking to play “keep away” with players from someone else? I think I have you covered.
We will dive into who are nice additions to your team with great matchups through the fantasy playoffs in this article. I will keep the intro short this week because i know you are busy.
Here are the guys you Must Stash!
Week 14 Weekend Waiver Wire
Quarterbacks
Will Levis, Tennessee Titans
From weeks 14 through 17, he has the easiest four-game stretch of any quarterback. He has either multiple touchdowns or over 300 total yards in each of the past four games. Multiple touchdowns in three out of those four games. Jaguars twice over the next four weeks with the Bengals and Colts mixed in. All teams people throw on.
James Winston, Cleveland Browns
Has the Steelers this week but has proven he will sling it against anyone. Against the Broncos in Week 13 he had 497 yards and 4 touchdowns in Week 13. I would add him just to keep him away from other teams for Week 15 (Chiefs) and 16 (Bengals).
Other quarterbacks to consider:
- Aiden O’Connell – Las Vegas Raiders, In Week 13 O’Connell passed for 340 yards and two touchdowns. The next 3 games are Buccaneers, Falcons, and Jaguars.
- Derek Carr – New Orleans Saints, Solid add for two QB leagues. Nothing exceptionally sexy here.
Quarterback Notes: Winston is probably my favorite add from this list because he will throw on anyone. Levis and O’Connell are pretty nice adds if you feel the need.
Running Backs
Alexander Mattison, Las Vegas Raiders
Mattison has been solid as the starter for the Raiders. He is not going to blow anything up in the fantasy playoffs but will give solid double-digit performances. In Weeks 16 and 17 he is against the Jaguars and Saints which are teams that everyone runs on.
Travis Homer, Chicago Bears
Over the past few days, neither DeAndre Swift nor Roschon Johnson have practiced. Travis Homer could turn into a nice play in Week 14 against the Niners. The Niners give up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Running Back Notes: I would play Homer in DFS for sure and potentially in season-long if you need someone. Mattison is a nice addition for the playoffs as a flex.
Wide Receivers
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans
Nick scored a touchdown in seven of the last eight games. He has over 20% target share in the last three games. Westbrook-Ikhine led the Titans in targets in Week 13. He had 8 targets which he turned into 3 receptions, 61 yards, and 2 touchdowns. You cannot find a better flex play right now.
Marques Valdes-Scantling, New Orleans Saints
MVS has four touchdowns over the past three games. He is the deep threat that Derek Carr loves to chuck it to right now. They play the Giants and the Commanders in the next two games. You can pass on them. MVS will probably score in each game.
Other wide receivers to consider:
- Elijah Moore – Cleveland Browns, 14 targets, 8 receptions, and 111 yards in Week 13. If Cedric Tillman is out again Moore will have a large volume of targets.
- Tre Tucker – Las Vegas Raiders, Double-digit fantasy score each of the last two games. Jakobi Meyers is questionable. The matchups for the next 4 weeks are amazing.
Wide Receiver Notes: Westbrook-Ikhine and MVS should both be rostered by now. It is amazing how many weeks I have written and talked about them. Feels like an anomaly all the touchdowns but it is not changing.
Tight Ends
Noah Gray, Kansas City Chiefs
He is on the field for 62% of the snaps. He has 36 targets on the season but 15 of those have come in the past 3 games. Gray boasts an 86% catch rate and has 4 touchdowns in the past three games as well. Patrick Mahomes trusts him. The guy will be playable at the very least.
Grant Calcaterra, Philadelphia Eagles
Dallas Goedert is out. Calcaterra gets to play the Panthers in Week 14 who give up the most fantasy points to tight ends. He is a warm body in a good match up. I am not over-excited about this as well.
Tight End Notes: I am more excited about Noah Gray than I let on. I think it is because there really is nothing to be excited about with tight ends right now.
