The Fantasy Football playoffs have arrived. If my articles helped you achieve that, it makes me happy. Helping people is something we are put on this Earth to do, and I am glad to help in the ways that I can.
Now, it is time. Sleepers and streamers for running backs are here for round one. There are no byes, but that does not mean your studs will help you reach glory. There are plenty of tough match-ups in Week 15, but a few key players that can help put the pressure on your opponent. Week 14 had nice hits on the streamer side with Tyrone Tracy and Isaac Guerendo. The sleepers saw a big miss by Kenneth Gainwell and a decent RB26 finish with Las Vegas Raiders running back Sincere McCormick.
Week 15 Running Back Sleepers
Javonte Williams vs. Indianapolis Colts
Javonte Williams is one of the fantasy football’s community arch nemesis. When you start him, he ends up missing. When he is on the bench, he becomes a RB1. I am here to say that this is the week Javonte Williams does right by all his managers. He faces the Indianapolis Colts, who are giving up 25.13 fantasy ppg, which is fourth most, and 12 total touchdowns to the position. With the Broncos having a fantastic defense, I think it might be a few turnovers on the Colts’ side that help the Broncos establish their run game.
Jacksonville Jaguars Running Backs vs. New York Jets
The New York Jets are an absolute mess. They have been the 23rd-ranked defense in fantasy in the second half of the fantasy season. This was a defense that was drafted as a top-five defense this off-season. Now, they get an away match-up against one of the worst teams in football, the Jacksonville Jaguars. This will be a terrific mid-off between atrocious teams. Tank Bigsby had his best fantasy finish in over a month in Week 14. Travis Etienne, one of the biggest fantasy busts this season, had his best fantasy finish in over two months as well. Give me the Jags running backs to help Mac Jones face off against a former division rival.
Week 15 Running Back Streamers
Rico Dowdle @ Carolina Panthers
Rico Dowdle has been a top-20 running back since Week 9. He has also seen 18 or more rush attempts in the past three weeks. He gets the sweetest match-up for a running back against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are giving up 29.08 fantasy ppg to the position, which is the most in the NFL this season. To pair with that, the Panthers have given up 17 total touchdowns to running backs and the most rushing touchdowns overall. All in all, Rico is a must-start in Week 15 and my favorite running back in sleepers and streamers.
Rhamondre Stevenson @ Arizona Cardinals
Rhamondre Stevenson has not had a touchdown since Week 9. He is due for one in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are giving up 97 rushing ypg (yards per game) as well as 12 total touchdowns to the position. I believe Stevenson will find the end zone in Week 15.
