NBA Player Props for November 29
Julius Randle, OVER 33 Points+Rebounds+Assists:
How do I put this lightly?…THE PISTONS SUCK! I went into this season thinking that the team would threaten for a playoff spot, but with or without Cade Cunningham, this team hasn’t been a contender. They are 12 games under .500, and have a 29th ranked defense and a 24th ranked offense. That’s perfect for Julius Randle to go off against a slow-paced Pistons team. He’ll be able to bang around in the paint easily against Jalen Duren and Livers, while also having no problem hitting those transition threes that he loves to take. I expect a big game from Randle (and Brunson for that matter), but I will admit there is some blowout risk to this bet. Feel free to take OVER 30+ PRA for worse odds, but a more likely payout.
Luka Doncic OVER 45 Points+Rebounds+Assists:
The biggest difference from this year and last year for the Warriors isn’t Draymond’s punch, it’s the fact that they were a top defensive team last year, and now they’re ranked 20th. Guys like Gary Payton II really made a difference on the defensive end, and the Warriors are struggling to overcome that. It’s not going to get any easier for them as they face Luka and Dallas for who are the 7th best net rating in the league. Luka is hunting for an MVP and he’ll have no problem threatening for a triple double against the middling Warriors. Luka is averaging 33/9/8 on the year.
Anfernee Simons UNDER 23 Points:
The Clippers may be missing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, but one thing about Tyron Lue is that his team is going to play defense. Despite missing their two best players, the Clippers are 2nd in the league in defense. SECOND!!! I’m not bold enough to call for a win for the Clippers, but I can say with confidence that they should hold Simons under his average (23.2 PPG). You should be able to find great odds for this, as Portland is favored to win.
