Be cautionary of certain pickups such as Bismack Biyombo. Worth an add but it will only be for one week with Deandre Ayton expected back soon. Here are four other players to add who are set up for success this week and beyond!
Week 3 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire
*Must add if available – Josh Hart, SG/SF – Portland Trail Blazers
Ayo Dosunmu, PG/SG – Chicago Bulls (65% rostered)
Ayo Dosunmu is a must-add and his rostered levels needs to skyrocket. Starting point guards don’t grow on trees and after suffering a minor chest contusion he may be available in your league! Dosunmu is fresh off three-straight double-digit points outings averaging 15.3 points while adding 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 3PTM. Dosunmu has at least 17 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in two of his past five games. Pick him up and don’t look back!
Kelly Olynyk, PF/C – Utah Jazz (62% rostered)
This weekly waiver wire piece might have to feature a weekly Jazz player. That’s what happens when you replace 80% of your starting lineup from a year ago. Kelly Olynyk is reaping the rewards of the revamped Jazz roster and there shocking everyone off to a 5-2 start. It’s always a massive plus to have a Power Forward/Center that can get points, rebounds and three-pointers. Three-pointers being the rarity amongst bigs, and Olynyk is on fire averaging 19.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 3.3 3PTM over four of his last six games. Add this triple threat asap!
Bol Bol, PF/C – Orlando Magic (60% rostered)
Bol Bol is taking over Orlando in style. The 7’2 big man is setting career highs across the board and is another decently rostered player but just isn’t high enough. Bol Bol is averaging 13 points and 7.3 rebounds over his last two games and 2.8 blocks over his last four games. The big man has at least four blocks in two of his past four games and the impressive part is it’s been during limited minutes. The Magic have a lengthy injury list so Bol needs to be on your teams and enjoy the rebound and block Magic show that he’s been putting on! Skip the long Disney lines and head to the game to check out Bol in action baby!
Bruce Brown, SF/PF – Denver Nuggets (25% rostered)
Bruce Brown has been a key contributor to the Denver Nuggets this season. Head Coach Michael Malone has been talking up the 5th-year pro heavily in recent post games and Brown is delivering with 18- and 20-point performances last week. The key with Brown has been stuffing the stat sheet posting 5 rebounds in three straight games, to go along with 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 3PTM. Michael Porter Jr. will continue to miss games all season and Brown will be there to step up in his place. Add away
