Week 11 Waiver Wire Rankings for Fantasy Football

With four weeks left in the fantasy football regular season, wins are more important now than ever. Earning those ever-important wins can be done with clutch pickups off of the waiver wire. Week 11 is no different as new assets present themselves.

You may be dealing with injuries, bye weeks, or just need to cycle out players from your bench. Whatever the case may be, the waiver wire is there to help. There’s not always a need to put in a claim for players each week, but if you do, make it count. Below, we’ll look at players at each position, who are on 50% or less of most fantasy football rosters, that could be considered on the Week 11 waiver wire.

Week 11 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire By Position

Running Back

Devin Singletary, Houston Texans

The Week 11 waiver wire should be the last opportunity to pick up Devin Singletary this season. After a career-high 30 carries in Week 10, Singletary is a rare workhorse back that can be had this late in the fantasy football season. He rushed for 150 yards and a score on said volume, proving he can make use of the volume.

Singletary should remain busy in Week 11. The Houston Texans look to keep things rolling against the Arizona Cardinals who allow the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season. This will be the first of three straight home games for the Texans. The third of these games will be against the Denver Broncos, who allow the most points to running backs. Singletary is a volume-based RB2 with RB1 upside each of the next few weeks as fantasy managers look to make a playoff push.

Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings

With Alexander Mattison in the concussion protocol, the door is open for Ty Chandler to have a massive Week 11 at home on Sunday Night Football. After getting buried on the Vikings roster for most of the 2023 season, now is the time to add Chandler from the Week 11 waiver wire. Even with Mattison available last Sunday, a play designed for Chandler to take a direct snap at the two-yard line was called which he turned into a touchdown.

Chandler will lose rush attempts to quarterback Joshua Dobbs but still managed 15 of his own in Week 10. Without Mattison, Chandler should see at least 15 against a Denver Broncos defense allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Not only is he a must-add on the Week 11 waiver wire, but you can start Chandler this week with players like Bijan Robinson, Alvin Kamara, and Jonathan Taylor on bye.

Other Running Backs to Consider

  • Zach Charbonnet remains a waiver wire suggestion in Week 11 as he remains active, but is still behind Kenneth Walker in the Seattle Seahawks backfield. Still, he logged 10 total touches for 64 scoreless yards in Week 10. His 10.2 Points Per Receptions points are a career-high for the rookie. If Kenneth Walker were to go down, Charbonnet would be a top-10 running back for fantasy football.
  • Keaton Mitchell ripped off a first-quarter 39-yard touchdown run in Week 10, but finished the game with 34 rushing yards on just three carries. Confusing, yes, but it’s clear Gus Edwards is the primary back in Baltimore on a team with Lamar Jackson running enough on his own. Stash Mitchell in case his role expands.
  • Handcuff Running Backs are those that serve as the obvious backup on their own team, as well as the stud on your team’s roster. With just four weeks left in the fantasy football regular season, it may be time to start adding key handcuffs if you haven’t yet done so. Players like Elijah Mitchell (SF), Tyjae Spears (TEN), and Kenneth Gainwell (PHI) come to mind.

Wide Receiver

Demario Douglas, New England Patriots

If you can afford to stash Demario Douglas during his Week 11 bye, then do so. He has 29 targets over his last four games. Douglas is the clear top option in the New England Patriots passing game, regardless of how painful it is to watch at times. He has a low ceiling for this reason but provides a safe enough floor to trust in as a flex option with upside week-to-week moving forward.

Noah Brown, Houston Texans

Yes, I know Nico Collins wasn’t active for Week 10 when Noah Brown caught seven of eight targets for 172 yards. However, when Collins was active in Week 9, Brown still managed to catch all six of his targets for 153 yards and a touchdown. He and rookie teammate, Tank Dell, are top-five fantasy wide receivers over the last two weeks. Even if Collins returns to the field in Week 11, Brown has a clear connection with quarterback C.J. Stroud. The Houston Texans will continue to make a push for the AFC South title and Brown will be a factor in doing so.

Other Wide Receivers to Consider

  • Brandin Cooks may be peaking at the right time in his first season with the Dallas Cowboys. His 32.3 points in Week 10 account for 40% of his entire 2023 fantasy production thus far. Cooks logged 10 targets, a season-high, and should remain the second option in the Dallas pass attack behind Ceedee Lamb moving forward. His quarterback Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP level with 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns over his last three games.
  • Rondale Moore and Michael Wilson account for 45% of the Arizona Cardinals’ Week 10 targets in quarterback Kyler Murray’s return. I’m sure Marquise Brown will rise to prominence with a rapport dating back to college with Murray, but adding his other weapons in the passing game, especially in deeper leagues, may be wise sooner than later.
  • Trenton Irwin saw just four targets in Week 10 but caught two of them for 54 yards including a 32-yard touchdown. He should remain in place of Tee Higgins (hamstring) in Week 11 on a short week as the Bengals play Thursday Night Football.

Tight End

Michael Mayer, Las Vegas Raiders

With rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell under center, Michael Mayer is back in the fantasy mix. His five targets in Week 10 are the second-most of his rookie season. They accounted for 20% of the team’s targets in their win over the New York Jets. One of Mayer’s three receptions was an incredibly impressive snag out of the air over a defender on his way to a top-10 fantasy finish. Mayer will take on a Miami Dolphins defense in Week 11 that is tied for eighth in receptions allowed to tight ends as well as 10th in yards allowed.

Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers

It’s a new age of tight ends as I suggest another rookie at the position for the Week 11 waiver wire. On a crowded offense of young playmakers, Musgrave has managed 50 or more receiving yards in each of his last two games. He’s averaging 11.3 points per game over that span as the TE13. Musgrave will play at home in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. They’re allowing the sixth-most points to opposing tight ends. This should be a game in which Jordan Love throws close to, if not more than, 40 pass attempts giving Musgrave a solid opportunity for a large batch of targets.

Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense has allowed the fourth-most yards to opposing tight ends on just the 17th-most receptions. They allow a whopping 12.7 yards per catch to tight ends. Chig Okonkwo’s season isn’t quite the breakout some expected, but he has a great opportunity to put up points in Week 11. He has 16 total targets over the last three weeks since the Titans’ bye. Beyond DeAndre Hopkins, rookie quarterback Will Levis is looking for Okonkwo more than Ryan Tannehill was. Okonkwo isn’t a must-start unless you’re in a tight end premium or deeper league.

Quarterback

Before I get into a few quarterback streaming options on the Week 11 waiver wire, it goes without saying that if Kyler Murray or Joshua Dobbs are still available, they should be your top targets. Murray, in his first start since tearing his ACL last December, put up 18.3 points, 9.3 of which were from rushing production. Dobbs, in his first start as a Minnesota Viking, finished as the QB3 with 25.1 points, 10.4 of which were from rushing production. They have a higher floor than most at the position.

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

I’m aware Jordan Love and the entire Packers offense were just on my Week 9 hot seat for fantasy football. Justifiably so! In Week 10, though, Love had his best fantasy output his Week 4 in Pittsburgh against a tough Steelers pass rush. In Week 11, he gets an easier bout at home with the Los Angeles Chargers. They’re allowing the second-most points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Jared Goff just torched them for 21.1 points in Los Angeles. Love has a good enough supporting cast, and may even find himself in a negative game script, to put up low-end QB1 numbers in Week 10.

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

After his best fantasy output since Week 5, with a win in Buffalo, Wilson is back on the fantasy football radar. He’s probably not a popular waiver wire add for most, but will have another shot to post start-worthy numbers in prime time. Wilson and the Broncos host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football in Week 11. The Vikings have allowed the 10th-most passing and rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks. In limited play, in relief for Derek Carr last weekend, Jameis Winston managed to throw for 122 yards and two touchdowns. If Russ can play against Minnesota like he did against the Buffalo Bills last night, he has a shot to put up over 20.0 fantasy points.
