Fantasy Football: Week 11 Quarterback Sleepers and Streamers

Brandon Blanco, masterfully, stepped in for me last week. This week I’ll do my best to follow-up his calls with our best Sleepers and Streamers at the QB position for Week 11. Whether your QB is injured or flat-out not performing, we can find a few QBs this week to get you by. We know winning your leagues takes a lot of work. Don’t fear! FantraxHQ is doing the work for you. Whether it’s matchups to exploit, injury replacements, or flat-out hot takes, we’ve got your fix. In this article, we’ll highlight three potential quarterback sleepers and streamers for NFL Week 11 that could help you win your matchups.

Week 11 Quarterback Sleepers and Streamers

Joe Flacco, Indianapolis Colts

In his second start since being named the starter after Anthony Richardson inexplicably pulled himself from the game (it’s actually pretty explicable, but NFL QBs tend to play every snap unless they just threw a lineman over their back), Flacco was tremendously underwhelming vs. Buffalo with 3 interceptions and a loss. While he did throw two TDs, one came on an acrobatic garbage time TD to Alec Pierce. That’s now in the past, though. The reason I like Flacco this week vs. the Jets, is because the Colts still have a top-10 offensive line in push (according to PFF’s metrics), and the Jets have an elite defensive line, so the Colts won’t be able to lean on Jonathan Taylor all game. Flacco is going to have to throw the ball, and his line should give him enough time to do so.

That said, the Jets also have an elite secondary, so don’t expect a flawless performance from Flacco. He’ll throw an interception or two. That’s part of the equation when you sign up for Joe Flacco. However, the positive moments will be there, too. I anticipate Flacco will be able to get into the endzone at least twice, considering the Jets’ struggles offensively leading to their defense starting drives with bad field position. With Josh Downs continuing to solidify himself as a trusted target for Flacco, and Alec Pierce coming on as well, I think the Colts can feel confident about putting up points on a New York Jets squad that may have finally quit on the season.

Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

After putting up a stinker of stinkers vs. the (rebuilding) New England Patriots of all teams, the Chicago Bears are in desperate need of a bounce-back game. Not necessarily for the season, as I don’t think they are contenders for the playoffs, but for Caleb Williams’ confidence as an NFL QB. The Bears are going to go up against the Packers this week. This rivalry is always good for a close game. Do the Packers usually win it as of late? Yes. But will it be a blowout? Highly unlikely. With the Packers maintaining their solid run defense, it will force the Bears to be largely one-dimensional.

In the past five games, Williams has thrown the ball 153 times. That’s an average of 30 passes per game. On top of that, I expect the Packers to be ahead, leading to a positive passing game script for the Bears. A game script where they will also be one-dimensional. I expect 40+ passing attempts this week for Williams, which should also correspond to 300+ yards passing. With that, we’ll be looking at 18+ fantasy points for the rookie. Not too shabby for a streaming option. Even if the game was a blowout in the Packers’ favor, that’s not necessarily a bad thing for Williams’ fantasy prospects this week. I feel great about his floor projections.

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans

Which brings me to my third streaming option…Will Levis. I don’t love it. But matchups are everything in this league, and the Titans will be facing off vs. the Las Vegas Raiders. And let’s just say…the Raiders look like they’re playing to draft Shedeur Sanders at this point. Further, as much as I’m not a fan of Levis, he’s been a solid fantasy player. His athleticism provides a nice rushing floor (he ran for 41 yards last week vs. the Chargers), and every now and then he manages to throw for a TD or two. This past week vs. LA, he threw for 2 TDs. Calvin Ridley seems to have solidified himself as the WR1 on the squad. While that was always true on paper, Ridley’s performance has left much to be desired, until these past few weeks. So, with a definite WR1, and a solid rushing floor, against one of the worst pass defenses in the league, I like Levis to put up some numbers.

I will say… proceed with caution if you do choose to start Levis. There is a legitimate chance that the Titans will get ahead in this one and then milk the clock with the run game. Levis was never going to throw for 300+ yards, but if the opportunities to throw become opportunities to run (as a result of the score of the game), the TDs may not present themselves either. This is a high-risk, medium-reward type of streaming option at QB. But if you’re reading this article, I realize it’s because you need to do what you need to do.
