Remember November is must-stash season!
Week 11 Weekend Waiver Wire
Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
I mentioned Wilson here last week and he passed for three touchdowns. Wilson has two games against the Ravens left on the schedule and everyone passes on the Ravens. One of those games in Week 11. Plug and play in Week 11 if you need a quarterback.
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Bo Nix is a top-10 quarterback right now. He is the overall QB9. The fact that he is available is what should be shocking and not that I am writing about him. He has an easy schedule for the rest of the season.
Other quarterbacks to consider:
- Danny Jones – New York Giants, Easy schedule for the rest of the season. He has been getting it done with his legs lately and not his arm.
- Jameis Winston – Cleveland Browns, Winston is going to throw touchdowns and interceptions, but he is going to throw and throw and throw.
Quarterback Notes: Wilson and Nix are two players you can feel confident about adding and playing right now.
Running Backs
Audric Estime, Denver Broncos
In Week 10 Estime played 45% of the offensive snaps at running back for the Broncos. That was the most on the team. Coach Payton has stated that he will be more involved. What that means, I don’t know. He is a solid running back add right now if he isn’t already rostered in your league.
Other running backs to consider:
- Gus Edwards – Los Angeles Chargers, He is back in the lineup and was somewhat efficient.
- Ray Davis – Buffalo Bills, MIght be the best handcuff in the league.
Running Back Notes: I still think Davis should be rostered everywhere. Nothing overly exciting at running back is out there.
Wide Receivers
Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers
In Week 10 Pearsall had 6 targets, 4 receptions, 73 yards, and a TD. Pearsall is playing the same role that Brandon Aiyuk had in this offense. The schedule is not that difficult, his quarterback is really good. I would add Pearsall wherever I can. Oh Ricky, you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind, Hey Ricky! Hey Ricky
Quinten Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers
QJ has a touchdown in each of the past two games. The Chargers passing attack is starting to take shape. He can make big plays and Justin Herbert is starting to trust him downfield. I am in on Johnston.
Other wide receivers to consider:
- Xavier Legette – Carolina Panthers, Probably the best wide receiver on the Panthers. Readily available in most leagues but on a bye in Week 11
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling – New Orleans Saints, 3 targets, 3 receptions, 109 yards, 2 TDs. Can’t ignore it
- Mike Williams – Pittsburgh Steelers, put a watch on him
Wide Receiver Notes: Johnston and Pearsall should be rostered everywhere. I’ll take Pearsall over Johnston. Legette has a relatively high floor. MVS could be something if he has the Rashid Shaheed role as Derek Carr will throw the ball deep. But that could mean a roller coaster ride in production.
Tight Ends
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Hunter Henry is not sexy at all. His floor is low, his ceiling isn’t extremely high. But, he is involved in the Patriots offense a lot. He leads the Patriots in targets, receptions, and receiving yards.
Other tight ends to consider:
Ja’Tavion Sanders – Caroline Panthers, IN the last two games he has exceeded 7 fantasy points in both.
Tight End Notes: There is nothing overly exciting about Henry or Sanders. But if you need some help at tight end this is the place to start.
