17 Fantasy Football Takeaways from Week 11

A lot happens each week in the NFL, and many people will miss a lot due to being hyper-focused on their home team along with their Fantasy Football matchups. Who has the time to catch up on everything that occurred at the end of the day? You are busy enough. That is where I come in.

Each week I take a look at every NFL team and take note of the volume, production, role changes, efficiency, and other variables that directly have Fantasy Football impacts. The last few weeks I have condensed those notes into a list of what I find most important from a given week. So after reflecting on Week 11, here are 17 notes that you need to know for Fantasy Football.

17 Fantasy Football Takeaways from Week 11

1. Curtis Samuel is rising

Yes, Buffalo has injuries, but I am for giving credit where it is due. Eight then six targets the last two games and five catches for 58 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. 16.8 Fantasy Points this week

2. Caleb Williams = DIFFERENT post-Shane Waldron Fire

A 74.2% completion percentage in Week 11 is the best since Week 6 for Caleb Williams. 231 passing yards is the best since Week 5. 70 rushing yards is a season-high. No passing touchdowns this week but if you watched the game he looked like a much better quarterback. This is encouraging.

3. Jerry Jeudy needs your attention

11 targets in both of Jeudy’s last two games is great volume. 12.9 then 14.3 then 26.2 Fantasy Points is a rising trend worth noting with Jameis Winston. Six catches for 142 receiving yards and a touchdown this week was a massive performance.

4. Bo Nix is a weekly Fantasy STARTER, not STREAMER

Prior to Week 11 Nix was already a Top 12 overall QB for Fantasy Football. 28.78 points in Week 11 simply asks you – “what more does he need to prove” for Fantasy? Season-high 307 passing yards with four (!!!) passing touchdowns in Week 11. Five games over 19 Fantasy Points this season. Nix is having a great rookie campaign that needs more love because his environment is average at best.

5. Amon-Ra St. Brown is Tier 1 ELITE… HORRIBLE advice from those who said to sell

ARSB caught all 11 targets in Week 11 which is the sixth time this season he caught every target. Season-high 161 yards in Week 11 with two touchdowns for 38.7 points. ARSB has finished three straight weeks over 18 Fantasy Points and five weeks over 20 Fantasy Points. ELITE producer.

6. Christian Watson flashed his rookie season

Watson finished with four catches on four targets but for 150 yards and 19 Fantasy Points. Watson has dealt with injuries this year but when healthy has the potential to rip off the big plays. Watson is an upside FLEX who is a big part of this offense and not widely rostered.

7. Anthony Richardson bounces back for Fantasy

AR finished 20/30 for 272 passing yards and a touchdown along with 10 carries for 32 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. 28.08 Fantasy Points. AR flashed big for Fantasy in Week 1 with 26.08 points but has disappointed and been benched since. Week 11 could be an encouraging sign for more big Fantasy weeks to come.

8. The Trio of Matthew Stafford-Cooper Kupp-Puka Nacua is one of the best in the NFL

295 passing yards and 4 touchdowns for Matthew Stafford in Week 11. Six catches on 10 targets for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns for Cooper Kupp. Seven catches on nine targets for 123 receiving yards and a touchdown for Puka Nacua. The ceiling of these three when all are healthy is HIGH and that is evident by them all scoring over 25 Fantasy Points this week.

9. Brock Bowers is the best TE in the NFL

13 catches on 16 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown for Brock Bowers in Week 11 for 31.3 Fantasy Points. Bowers is having a historic rookie-season and likely is going to have the best campaign of all time. What is the difference between Bowers and other high-producing tight ends? George Kittle has Brock Purdy… Travis Kelce has Patrick Mahomes.. Trey McBride has Kyler Murray… keep going down the same trend here but Brock Bowers has Gardner Minshew

10. Miami is getting HOT

All of Tyreek Hil (19.1), De’Von Achane (20.5), Tua Tagovailoa (23.52), and Jonnu Smith (28.1) went off in Week 11. It has been a rough season across the board for this group of offensive players, but with everyone healthy, I want a piece of this offense weekly.

11. Sam Darnold has plenty of UPSIDE this year

20/32 for 246 passing yards and 2 touchdowns paired with 18 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown for Sam Darnold in Week 11 for 23.64 Fantasy Points. Darnold has thrown for 240+ passing yards for 5 straight weeks. Seven weeks of multiple passing touchdowns. Five weeks of 19+ Fantasy Points.

12. Drake Maye has tons of Fantasy potential

Drake Maye threw 30/40 (75%) for 282 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, an interception, and 27 rushing yards in Week 11. Maye has thrown over 240 passing yards in 3/5 of his full games played this year. 17+ Fantasy Points in 3/5 of his games played. When you watched him this week you saw a guy with traits of a true difference-maker.

13. Taysom Hill is the Unicorn of Fantasy Football

The Saints are banged up, so they lit the Taysom torch in Week 11. Eight catches on 10 targets for 50 yards paired with seven rushing attempts for 138 yards and three rushing touchdowns. I triple-checked this but… 41.52 Fantasy Points. What else can I say about playing him in your…wait for it.. tight end slot for Fantasy Football? CHEAT CODE!!!

14. Breece Hall bounced-back HARD

Three weeks under 13 Fantasy Points in a row then 31.1 in Week 11 for Breece Hall. 16 rushing attempts for 78 yards and a touchdown paired with seven catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. The dual-threat upside running back was on full display for Hall this week. Never give up on talent

15. George Pickens continues to BREAK OUT

11, 74, 91, and 89 yards in the last four weeks for George Pickens. 22.1, 11.4, 20.5, and 16.9 points during this stretch with Russell Wilson. 12 targets in Week 11 is great volume. Consistent upside is being displayed for Pickens following the quarterback change.

16. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is catching a MAJOR stride

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught seven balls on 13 targets for 180 yards and two touchdowns for 27 Fantasy Points before the Week 10 BYE. Then 10 catches on 11 targets for 110 yards and 21.8 Fantasy Points in Week 11 for JSN. High volume + high production is trending towards a breakout year and aligns wth the talent we knew JSN had.

17. Jauan Jennings is the real deal

Seven catches on 11 targets for 93 yards in Week 10 for Jauan Jennings. 10 catches on 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown to follow for Jennings in Week 11. 16.3/25.1 Fantasy Points the last two weeks make Jennings look the part in San Fran.
