Week 4 Rankings from Two-Time CDM Sports Champ Mick Ciallela

Last week, we saw quarterbacks continue to dominate the fantasy landscape. Passing production is at a frenetic pace in 2018. Back in 2011 and 2012, an NFL record six quarterbacks threw for at least 4,500 yards. This season, there are thirteen signal callers on pace to hit that mark. It remains to be seen if they can keep it up, but it sure makes for some wild weekends in both real life and fantasy. Patrick Mahomes has an NFL record 13 touchdown passes through three games. Not bad for a player who had made one career start prior to the season. I’m probably a week or two late, but I have him as my overall QB1 in my Week 4 rankings. He has a tough matchup on the road in Denver, but the wunderkind deserves the top spot until further notice.

Alvin Kamara has the stigma of not being able to carry a full workload. But in fairness, he did not need to last season with Mark Ingram in the fold. So far in 2018, Kamara has received more than his fair share of work. Kamara has logged 67 touches through three games and has parlayed that into the second-most fantasy points among running backs. In PPR leagues, Kamara is even more valuable. The second-year star has the third-most receptions and ninth-most receiving yards in the entire NFL.

Not to be outdone, teammate Michael Thomas is on his way to obliterating the NFL record of 143 receptions in a season. Thomas is currently on pace to catch an unfathomable 203 passes this season. What he and Kamara are doing so far this year is quite remarkable. Last season, Todd Gurley led all players with 383.3 PPR points. No other player had more than 350 points. This year, Kamara and Thomas are on pace for 506.7 and 489.6 points, respectively. I expect those numbers to come back to earth a bit when Mark Ingram returns from suspension next week, but Kamara and Thomas are top-five options every single week. They each sit at number three in my Week 4 rankings at their respective positions.

Below you will find the rest of my Week 4 rankings. Please keep in mind that it is quite early in the week and there are plenty of injury questions and concerns that may alter the roles of many players over the course of the next few days. If you would like to ask me any specific questions regarding your start/sit decisions, feel free to comment below or contact me on Twitter. Enjoy and best of luck this week!
