Quarterbacks
Jett Duffey, Texas Tech
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 14%
My eyeball test does not appreciate Jett Duffey as a viable fantasy option. Nonetheless, a statistical analysis clearly contradicts my senses. In the last three games, the junior playmaker has scored over 25 fantasy points in each game, producing 31.4, 25.1 and 35.8 points. He has completed 65% of his passes for 958 yards and eight touchdowns. Also, he has rushed for 116 yards on 23 carries. If Tua Tagovailoa was the anchor of your lineup, Duffey can provide a needed replacement the final two weeks of the playoffs. The dual-threat signal-caller faces Kansas State at home and travels to Texas to conclude the campaign. Both are scrumptious matchups. — John
John Rhys Plumlee, Mississippi
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 12%
Whether or not LSU’s defense is actually good or not is one discussion: How incredible John Rhys Plumlee is as a football player is a completely different one. Plumlee has taken advantage of each and every opportunity he’s been presented with since debuting in the Alabama game and has amassed a staggering 936 yards in a seven-game period.
Last weekend was a testament to his season as the former-Georgia Bulldog “Blue Shirt” took off against LSU for 212 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. I don’t know if he can actually throw the ball, but his game against Mississippi State next week will win plenty of championships for fantasy owners that capitalize now. — Justin

Journey Brown, Penn State
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 6%
Over the past two games, Journey Brown has taken advantage of the opportunities provided with Noah Cain sidelined with an injury (Minnesota) and nailed to the bench (Indiana). The Nittany Lions have trusted Brown in the ground game and given him 35 carries for 224 yards. He has eclipsed 100 yards rushing in both contests, averaged 6.7 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns. Next week’s game against Ohio State is tough to start Brown but in the closing contest, Penn State welcomes Rutgers to Happy Valley. In Dynasty and Keeper leagues, the Nittany Lions’ ball carrier should be acquired. — John
Tra Minter, South Alabama
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 30%
With as bad as the South Alabama offense has been this season, I never gave Tra Minter a second glance. But given he’s reached just over 800 yards this season with touchdowns in each of the last two contests, I reconsidered my outlook. The lack of touchdowns this season was a point of concern for me, but provided that Minter is finally reaching the end zone with Georgia State and Arkansas State left, I am all in on the under-the-radar Minter in waivers as we all try to take home the gold. — Justin

Wide Receivers
Antonio Gibson, Memphis
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 26%
Everything for Antonio Gibson is lining up at the right time for fantasy owners. Gibson has caught a touchdown pass in each of his last three games while also establishing himself as a lethal return man in the process. He’s also making his stamp on the ground with eight rushing attempts over the last three weeks.
Memphis Quarterback Brady White is on a hot streak, and the Tigers are going up against the dreadful South Florida Bulls who are likely going to be making a lot of coaching changes this offseason. Gibson’s ownership has already spiked this week so if you’re looking to get him for a week 14 championship game, you need to grab him now. — Justin
Simi Fehoko, Stanford
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 2%
On Saturday morning, I was researching for my DFS CFB lineups on DraftKings and had $4,500 remaining on my salary cap for one more receiver in my lineup. Looking at the prospects in the price range, Stanford’s Simi Fehoko stood tallest on the list, and he did not disappoint with three catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns. At 6-foot-4 and 226 pounds, the sophomore towers over opponents. In the past three games, Fehoko has snagged eight passes for 285 yards and five touchdowns, averaging a whopping 35.6 yards per catch. He only has 14 receptions for the entire season, but averages over 29 yards on every reception. There is tremendous risk starting Fehoko down the stretch in home games against California and Notre Dame. — John
Jadan Blue, Temple
Fantrax Ownership Percentage: 13%
Temple’s offensive attack this season is surprisingly balanced between an efficient passing attack led by NFL hopeful Anthony Russo and a duo of backs in Jager Gardner and Re’Mahn Davis. While he went cold for a while, Jadan Blue has caught—adjusts glasses—23 passes for over 200 yards in the last two weeks.
While Blue’s touchdown numbers haven’t been the greatest, he’s picking up strong here in the final weeks against a Cincinnati defense that has allowed 238 yards and a touchdown the last time a receiver caught ten or more passes. Even if he doesn’t get the yards, it’s hard to ignore those touches. — Justin
