Can you believe we’re already in December? The season sure is going by quickly. Players on the Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire could be going quickly too, so better pick them up before they’re gone!

Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire for Week 10
Forwards
RW Alex Tuch, VGK (44%): Tuch had a dreadful start to his campaign. He missed time with an upper-body injury, and only collected two points in the 10 games he did play. This all coming off the heels of a 20 goal, 52 point campaign in 2018-19. That’s all changed in the past four contests. He’s making up for his slow start, lighting it up with seven points — including goals against the very defensively sound Coyotes and Islanders. This is the Tuch poolies thought they were getting when they drafted him. Now you might be able to find him on your fantasy hockey waiver wire. Take advantage of the owners who dropped him earlier.
RW Mats Zuccarello, MIN (38%): The Wild are red hot, winners of five straight games. Zuccarello has been a big contributor to that success, posting five points during the streak. It took some time, but he’s finally looking comfortable after signing with Minnesota. He’s up to 16 points in 25 outings. Playing on the top line and top power-play unit, the Wild are going to continue leaning on him. Don’t forget, he had 40 points in 48 games last year, and is more than capable of providing quality offense.
C Christian Dvorak, ARZ (31%): Most of Dvorak’s 2018-19 campaign was erased due to surgery, as he missed 62 games. Thankfully it didn’t derail his career entirely. He’s bounced back quite nicely, posting 18 points through 31 games. He’s riding a five-game points streak, which includes a pair of goals and four assists. Dvorak plays on the Coyotes second line, and top power-play unit. On pace for 49 points, he should easily surpass his previous career-high of 37 points.
LW Brendan Lemieux, NYR (25%): Lemieux started out his time in New York as a fourth-liner, but has continuously worked his way up the lineup. Can you believe he’s playing on the top line, alongside Mika Zibanejad and Kaapo Kakko? He’s even seeing ice time on the second power-play unit. It’s well earned though, as he’s been a very versatile player for the Rangers. Lemieux is making the most of his opportunity, as he’s up to 12 points on the year, while currently riding a three-game point streak. He’s also finding his way into nearly every category with 54 PIM, 46 shots on goal, one power-play goal, one power-play assist, one shorthanded goal, one shorthanded assist, 62 hits, and 30 blocks.
LW Nick Foligno, CBJ (23%): Since returning from suspension, Foligno has tallied six points in eight contests. The Columbus captain has been hitting everything that moves, racking up 30 hits over that span. He’s playing on the Jackets second line and second power-play unit. He’ll continue to be relied upon in Columbus, and you can rely on him to help in multiple categories.
Defensemen
D Matt Niskanen, PHI (37%): After seeing his point totals dwindle in each of the past three seasons, Niskanen is seeing a bit of a resurgence. Only 25 points in 2018-19, but he’s already up to 13 points in just 29 appearances. Four of those points have come in his previous four contests. He’s more well known for contributing in other categories, where he has 57 hits and 37 blocks.
D Ryan Graves, COL (26%): The 24-year-old blueliner is starting to find an offensive game. Last year he had five points in 26 contests. This year he’s already doubled that total in just 27 outings. Four of those points were registered in his past five games. He doesn’t see any power play time, so be wary of his production being sustainable. However, if you’re in a bit of a deeper league, he’s likely still on your fantasy hockey waiver wire and can provide value. Graves has 39 hits, 62 blocks, and a plus-18 rating.
Goaltending
G Kaapo Kahkonen, MIN (14%) & G Alex Stalock, MIN (31%): As mentioned earlier, the Wild are rolling. Devan Dubnyk is, unfortunately, dealing with some personal matters. This leaves Minnesota with the tandem of Kahkonen and Alex Stalock. Kahkonen has just two NHL games under his belt. Both wins, with .941 and .957 save percentages. Stalock has won he past three contests and boasts an 8-3-2 record on the year. Minnesota may elect to alternate between the goaltenders, so you may want to pick both of them up.
