Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte: NASCAR DFS Picks

Charlotte’s qualifying races are complete, and we have our lineup for the Coca-Cola 600.

On Wednesday, we took a look at the favorites and the underdogs to prepare for one of NASCAR’s biggest races of the year and now, we can look at where to find values based on qualifying position (QP).

Toyotas have won five of the last ten here in Charlotte at the race they call “600 Miles of Remembrance.” On Saturday, Toyotas qualified for five of the top ten spots when all is lined up and the green flag waves tonight. In fact, all Toyotas in this race are in the top 14. That is hard to ignore from a DFS perspective.

First, we’ll look at the values on the slate.

I feel like my accuracy is spectacular when it comes to telling you in my preview who I’m throwing the brakes on for any given race and then watching that driver turn into the biggest value following qualifiers. This is the content you come here for.

Kyle Larson slammed into a wall in Lap 10 of qualifiers and will start 36th in Charlotte today. This occurred less than 24 hours after having the fastest lap at practice at 178.944 mph. If his car can survive the day in Charlotte, he is easily one of the biggest values on the board. His exorbitant salary becomes much more palatable when he can receive positional points from the back of the lineup.

Corey Lajoie also found the wall during qualifiers and will start 37th, making him a value on both sites, as he should be able to improve on that position for one of the lowest salaries out there.
