Gameweek 33 Waiver Wire Targets
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Gameweek 33 Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% ownership or below on Fantrax. These players will also have a favorable run of fixtures upcoming, so they could perform very well over the upcoming period!
Jeffrey Schlupp
Position: Midfielder
Team: Crystal Palace
Ownership: 11%
Next Fixture: Leicester (Away)
Prospects: My name is Jeff. Schlupp is back among the tiny number of Palace players worth holding and starting against most opponents. A shaky Leicester D is just such a game, with a tasty DGW most likely coming in GW35, it is time to get in on the ground floor. Schlupp has back-to-back assists from the bench since his return from injury so I expect him to make the starting XI this upcoming weekend
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 10% of your remaining FAB for him. Not because he is not worth more, it’s because Leicester away and City in the next 2 will scarte most people off. you can most likely get him in a free.
Dele Alli
Position: Midfielder
Team: Tottenham
Ownership: 36%
Next Fixture: BLANK
Prospects: Surely the former MK Dons and current @draftgenie favourite, Alli will get a chance to impress with Mourinho gone. Surely… Please? To be honest, I am not convinced he is worth rostering for that promise through the blank gameweek. Obviously, if he makes the cup final starting XI, it is a sign to pick him up
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or a maximum 10% of your remaining FAB.
Ahmed El Mohamady
Position: Defender
Team: Aston Villa
Ownership: 2%
Next Fixture: WBA (Home)
Prospects: ELMO TIME! With Matty Cash suspended, the marauding Egyptian will get his run-out against West Brom in the West Midlands derby. Whenever he is given a chance to impress, El Mohamady rarely disappoints and although the Big Sam effect is guiding fellow Brummie team to unexpected results, West Brom are still a good team to face for an attacking full-back.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver pick or less, than 10% of your remaining FAB. However well Elmo played when filling in for Cash, he always lost his spot, once the Englishman returned and this week will be no different. This is a one week punt.
Dan Burn
Position: Defender
Team: Brighton and Hove Albion
Ownership: 17%
Next Fixture: Sheffield United (Away)
Prospects: The biggest fullback in all the land could be hauling big points against already relegated Sheffield United this upcoming weekend if he gets the start (Potter Roulette warning). Sheffield United have only scored 2 goals since mid-February, so there is every chance for a Clean Sheet for the plucky Brighton D in addition to Burn’s knack for ghost points.
Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim for him or less, than 10% of your remaining FAB.
