Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview: December 11-17

Welcome to the Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview for Week Eight. After an exciting mid-season tournament last week, normalcy resumes with a consistent schedule. Every team in the NBA is playing at least three games. On a positive note, most players have received multiple days of rest which means this week should be a litmus test for your team for the rest of the season. This week’s schedule allows for effective streaming as well. Let’s jump into the week’s schedule and find opportunities to maximize games and category production.

Fantasy Basketball Streaming:

This week’s schedule offers a streaming opportunity. The low nights are Tuesday and Sunday (five games). To maximize games played, target the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. Each team plays on Tuesday and Sunday and offers multiple players to stream. The Warriors also play on Thursday, which has seven games.

Phoenix Suns (TUE/WED/FRI/SUN):

  • Eric Gordon (SG/SF): Gordon continues to have a prominent role on offense for the Suns as long as Beal is out. He can score, hit threes, and facilitate. He continues to be a helpful stream this week.
  • Grayson Allen (SG): Allen is an excellent stream this week due to his starting role on the Suns. Before you make the jumps, check on his health.
  • Drew Eubanks (PF): Eubanks is a blocks specialist as Nurkic’s backup. Even in limited minutes, Eubanks is a valuable stream.

Golden State (TUE/THUR/SAT/SUN):

  • Jonathan Kuminga (PF): The Warriors turned to Kuminga for a jolt in production. Kuminga could threaten Wiggins’ starting position and is a natural target for expanded minutes. He is worth a shot for streaming purposes and can provide points and rebounds but not much else.
  • Moses Moody (SG): Like Kuminga, Moody wants expanded playing time. Moody has demonstrated talent but has yet to be consistent. Moody can score double-digit points and complement their production with threes and rebounds.
