Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview: March 11-17

Welcome to the Fantasy Basketball Schedule Preview for March 11 – 17. If you are in the playoffs, you undoubtedly feel the missed games across the NBA. Currently, 17 players are “out” or “questionable” and are ranked in the top 50 categorical rankings. The silver lining is that every team is dealing with this for the most part. Unless you were one of the lucky few who escaped the injury bug, streaming will be your saving grace to bide time until your players return. Study your schedule, find your weak categories, and stream as aggressively as possible within the limits of your league settings. Four teams offer solid streaming options this week; check them out below, and good luck!

Fantasy Basketball Streamers

This week’s schedule is low on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Each team offers multiple players to stream and games on all the ‘low’ nights. There may be better players on your waiver wire suited to your team, but the players below could help swing a few categories.

PHOENIX SUNS (MON/THURS/FRI/SUN)

  • Royce O’Neale (SF): O’Neale is soaking up minutes for the Suns, especially with Booker out. He contributes across the board and makes an excellent stream this week.
  • Grayson Allen (SG):  Allen plays monster minutes while Booker sits. Even with Booker returning soon, Allen can score and contribute threes, rebounds, assists, and steals. Pick him up if he is available.
  • Drew Eubanks (PF): Eubanks plays backup center minutes but effectively provides rebounds and blocks. He’s worth a stream if you need those categories.

BOSTON CELTICS (MON/TUES/THURS/SUN)

  • Al Horford (PF/C): Horford is valuable as Porzingis’ backup. Early in the week, expect Al to get at least one start, most likely on Tuesday. In a backup role, Horford is still streamable and can provide production across the board, with an upside in assists from the center position.
  • Sam Hauser (SF): Unless Tatum and Brown are out, He is purely a threes streamer if you need him on low nights.

CHICAGO BULLS (MON/WED/THURS/SAT)

  • Andre Drummond (C): Drummond is still a rebound streamer, but his minutes are getting squeezed. Don’t expect much, but he is there if you need rebounds.
  • Torrey Craig (SF/PF): Craig is on a minutes restriction, but that will bump up next week. He could be better, but he provides all-around production in small quantities.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (TUE/THURS/FRI/SUN)

  • Norman Powell (SG/SF): Powell is a stone-cold scorer, excelling in points and threes and adding a few rebounds and steals. With Westbrook sidelined, Powell will be in a 30-minute role.
  • Daniel Theis (PF/C): Theis’ minutes are in flux, but expect 15-20 minutes a night where he contributes five rebounds and maybe a block. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but that can swing your matchup in deeper leagues.
