The Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire won’t stop during the holidays! Merry Christmas to everyone out there and I hope you had an amazing Christmas. Our Waiver Wire adds from the previous week saw names such as Jonathan Kuminga and Isaiah Hartenstein. Both have found roles within their teams due to injuries or a suspension to the guy in front of them. Here are two more names for you to consider this week.
NBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire
Isaiah Stewart, F/C – Detroit Pistons (76% rostered)
Isaiah Stewart has averaged just 21.8 fantasy ppg this season but picked up his game the past week. In the past seven days, Stewart is averaging 32.62 ppg. It was just two games, but they were the best two games he has had this season. He had 37.75 fantasy in the Pistons’ last outing with 20 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. He has also seen his minutes picked up seeing over 30 minutes of play time in each of the last two games. With the Pistons being losers of 26 in a row, they have no identity. They might as well start seeing what players can be used as trade pieces and Stewart might be just that guy. Look for him to continue to be a great producer on a bad team.
Grayson Allen, G/F – Phoenix Suns (65% rostered)
The biggest benefactor of Bradley Beal’s inability to stay healthy is Grayson Allen. Grayson Allen has been a solid player for the 2023 season so far. He has seen over 32 or more minutes in his last ten games besides one where he played 29 minutes. He also has averaged 26.12 the past week and is averaging 26.11 ppg on the season. Allen has been consistent all season long and should see good production playing alongside Devin Booker. Allen went from being hated for tripping people at the University of Duke to now having the best year of his career. Currently, Allen is averaging his most ppg, rebounds, assists, steals, field goals, and three-point percentage. Allen is one of my favorite waiver wire adds so far this year and everyone needs to roster him and enjoy the consistency of his play this season.
