Week 17 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire

Reggie Bullock, SG/SF – Dallas Mavericks (33% rostered)

Ladies and Gentlemen… we cannot ignore Reggie Bullock anymore. Bullock has now posted four 20+point games out his last five and is averaging 21.7 points, 7 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 5.0 3PTM over his last three games. He’s also been perfect from the free-throw stripe over the last two weeks. Mavs Fanatics make some noise, Bullock is getting 33.5 minutes per night and needs to be added to your fantasy squads.

Jaxson Hayes, C– New Orleans Pelicans (25% rostered)

Jaxson Hayes is making some noise in New Orleans. Hayes has been a monster posting 21.5 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks over his last two games. The key news is he received the start at Power Forward so the third year-pro could be in line for some more position eligibility in the near future. Josh Hart is out with a knee injury adding minutes to Hayes workload and more minutes could be on the way with the trade deadline looming.

Darius Bazley, SF/PF– Oklahoma City Thunder (28% rostered)

Darius Bazley takes another turn on the carousel wheel as his season continues to fluctuate from amazing potential to riding pine but alas! Thunder has struck and Bazley is back! Bazley is now averaging a cool 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.8 3PTM over his last four games. Thunder HC Mark Daigneault said Aaron Wiggins could be out awhile which makes me jump on the Bazley train once again. It’s all about the minutes and Bazley has received at least 35+ over three straight games and he’s paying dividends averaging 10 rebounds per game over that span. Add away.

Royce O’Neale, SG/SF/PF– Utah Jazz (41% rostered)

Royce O’Neale is not going to win you over with excitement but the 5th-year pro continues to deliver solid value and contributes to multiple categories. O’Neale has been a top-65 player in standard formats over the past month and is averaging 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.8 3PTM in four of his past five games. He has posted at least two steals in three of his last four games while adding 12 points per game. Joe Ingles is out for the season which will garner extra minutes and more 12 point, 5 rebound, 3 assist, 2 steal games in the future for Rolls Royce. I can find a lot of Jazz tunes worse than that! Worth an add.

Justise Winslow, PF – Portland Trail Blazers (2% rostered)

So, you’re telling me there’s a chance!? Larry Nance suffered a setback with knee inflammation, Nassir Little is out for the season, Robert Covington and Norman Powell have been shipped off to Los Angeles and newly acquired Eric Bledsoe is also hurt. Talk about trouble in paradise. Minutes are definitely up for grabs in Portland so take a shot with Justise Winslow. Winslow arrived just in time for tip-off Saturday and posted 6 points and 7 rebounds with no practice with his new team. Starter minutes may be up for grabs and the veteran forward was fresh off of averaging 11.5 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.5 steals over two games for the Clippers last week where he saw over 25 minutes. I’m taking a chance and betting on wins for Winslow.
