Week 6 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire

Kevin Love, PF/C– Cleveland Cavaliers (43% rostered)

The return of Kevin Love is back! Love missed eight games after dealing with Covid protocols, but the veteran hasn’t missed a beat in his return and has probably been forgotten and available on the waiver wire. Love was great last game pouring in 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 3PTM. Over his last three games, Love is averaging 13 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.3 3PTM. What else is new in Cleveland? Collin Sexton is out for the season. Rookie star Evan Mobley is out 2-4 weeks and Cedi Osman will miss the next few games. I Love this add…

Patty Mills, PG/SG – Brooklyn Nets (31% rostered)

Joe Harris is expected to miss a few games due to an ankle sprain which opens up the doors for Patty Mills. Usually, you don’t want to add one category type of guys but with Mills you get points, three-pointers, steals, assists from time to time, and good shooting percentages. Solid stats around the board make Mills a must-add as long as Harris is out of the lineup. We all know Kevin Durant and James Harden can miss some action from time to time as well which makes Mills a very intriguing add and hold for the long term. From beyond the arc, we go!

Jarred Vanderbilt, PF/C– Minnesota Timberwolves (15% rostered)

Winter is coming and you want Jarred Vanderbilt in your lineup to defend the wall. The Timberwolves are on a winning streak for the first time all season and Vanderbilt is a big reason why. Over his last two games, Vanderbilt is averaging 11.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. These are solid numbers to have on your fantasy rosters and help you win some defensive categories. If his 25+ minutes creep into the thirties all his numbers will rise making him a must-add. Pick him up!

Hamidou Diallo, SG/SF– Detroit Pistons (1% rostered)

Hamidou Diallo looked like one of the best Detroit Pistons on the court Sunday and is averaging 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks over his last two games. HC Dwayne Casey said Diallo would be a focal point of the Pistons offense when he acquired him last year and he was unreal down the stretch averaging 21 points and 8 rebounds over the final week of the season, but injuries have derailed his fortunes in 2021. With Kelly Olynyk out six weeks, an extra spot is available for the taking. My bets on Diallo for an increased role. Rev your engines with this one Detroit.
