Fantasy Basketball Weekend Streamers: Mar 3-5

22 teams across the NBA play two games in three nights over the first weekend in March. That means there is no shortage of streaming options heading into Friday night.

Many times the names listed in this article in weeks prior are still amazing choices, and widely available across standard leagues. To check out those players, and see if they’re a good fit for your roster, just click here to view the article list.

Fantasy Basketball Weekend Streamers

NBA Fantasy Streamers is a weekly article put out by Fantrax to help Fantasy NBA managers chase down statistics in weekly league formats. All the players listed below play 2 games in three nights between Friday and Sunday, giving you the best opportunity to maximize their statistical output.

Teams With Two Games

ATL, BOS, BKN, CHA, CHI, GSW, HOU. LAC, LAL, MEM, MIA, MIL, MIN, NYK, OKC, ORL, PHX, POR, SAC, SAS, UTA, WAS

Donte DiVincenzo, G – Golden State Warriors | 63% rostered

Best Stats: PTS, 3PM

DiVencenzo is coming off a bit of a lackluster performance Thursday, dropping only five points, but that shouldn’t deter managers from picking him up. Even on an off-scoring night Donte nabbed ten boards and picked up 5 assists to go along with two steals and two blocks.

The biggest indicator of success has been his usage, over the last four games he’s played 30+ minutes in all of them. In that stretch, he’s averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals.

Matisse Thybulle, G/F – Portland Trailblazers | 51% rostered

Best Stats, STL, BLK, 3PM

It’s been a re-birth in Portland for Matisse, a Northwest native, and Washington grad. The athletic wing has shown flashes of what made him essentially “untradeable” a few years ago in Philadelphia. While scoring has always been an added bonus for Thybulle, his complete lack-there-of kept him nearly out of the rotation at times in Philly.

Now in Portland, his defensive acumen has been on full display while his three-point range and efficiency exhibit that the potential could still be there. In his first six games with the Trailblazers Thybulle is putting up 1.8 steals, 1.7 blocks, and knocking down 3 threes a night, all while shooting over 50% from the floor.

Dennis Smith Jr, G – Charlotte Hornets | 61% rostered

Best Stats: AST, STL, PTS

Unsurprisingly Dennis Smith Jr. (DSJ) has had a 13.5% uptick in ownership over the last week after the announcement that LaMelo Ball will miss the remainder of the Season. That being said, a 61% roster percentage still seems low, and in standard 10-12 team leagues it’s likely closer to 25%.

At this stage in the season, there is absolutely no replacing Lamelo’s production, but DSJ filled in admirably at the beginning of the season and has put up solid numbers since Lamelo’s most recent absence. Smith is averaging 13.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.3 steals in his last five games in the new starting role.

Xavier Tillman, F, Memphis Grizzlies | 38% rostered

Best Stats: REB, BLK, PTS

Steven Adams was slated to return in early March, but while he’s been reported to be participating in 5 on 5 drills, he won’t be back this weekend.

Insert Xavier Tillman, certainly not a traditional big, only standing 6’7, but the man grinds. Statistically, despite fairly even minutes, he’s a bit feast or famine. Tillman scored 18 with 11 boards and 2 steals Tuesday, only to back it up with four points and five rebounds a night later. Luckily for fantasy managers, streamers like Tillman can have one good game, followed by a lesser effort and still be a bonus output vs a player with only one game.

Delon Wright, G – Washington Wizards | 47% rostered

Best Stats: AST, STL

This is a re-post from last week, but the talking points remain the same. The added caveat here is that starting point guard Monte Morris is set to miss extended time. Wright’s rostered percentage already jumped 11% over last week so don’t miss another opportunity to get a solid pass first, a defensive-minded guard who can be a threat to drop 15+ points.
