Teams With Two Games
ATL, BOS, BKN, CLE, DAL, DET, GSW, HOU, IND, LAC, LAL, MEM, MIA, MIL, MIN, NYK, OKC, ORL, PHI, POR, SAS, UTA, WAS
Royce O’Neale, F – Brooklyn Nets | 77% rostered
Best stats: STL, AST, 3PM
The undrafted forward out of Baylor has made a name for himself defensively, and with his ability to knock down threes. No one has ever accused O’Neale of being a facilitator, but this year he’s averaging 4.7 assists a game, and 8 per over his last four. His hot streak dishing out assists will likely come to an end at some point with Kyrie back, and Ben Simmons healthy, but until then, categorize this pick-up as “riding the wave”.
Caleb Martin, F – Miami Heat | 55% rostered
Best stats: PTS, STL, 3PM
Over half the Miami Heat roster is either a game-time decision or out for Friday’s matchup with Washington. Luckily for Martin, he isn’t on that list. Martin is a streaky shooter who dropped 24 points in his last game, to go along with 9 rebounds. His best attribute may be his availability though, with the litany of injuries for the Heat he is likely to see 35-plus minutes a night this weekend.
Reggie Jackson, G – Los Angeles Clippers | 67% rostered
Best stats: PTS, 3PM, AST
The Clippers acquired John Wall in the offseason and it was assumed Jackson would lose a healthy portion of his role. Well, were 19 games into the season, and through injury and inconsistency in the backcourt, Jackson is still thriving. Over his last 4 games, Reggie is putting up 20 points, 4 assists, and nearly 3 three-pointers a night. With the health of Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Wall in question this weekend there is a good chance Jackson will be a key feature in the Clippers’ offense.
Alec Burks, G/F – Detroit Pistons | 48% rostered
Best stats: PTS, 3PM, STL
Despite only playing 21 minutes a night Burks has managed to average over 15 points a game this campaign. The veteran wing has been a consistent piece of the struggling Pistons team to start the season. His value is also pumped up this weekend with the absence of Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey. Over his last 4 games, Burks has averaged 19.5 points and 3 three-pointers, look for him to continue his hot streak as the Pistons deal with numerous injuries.
Shake Milton, G – Philadelphia 76ers | 48% rostered
Best stats: PTS, AST, 3PM
Much like the heat, the injury bug has hit the Sixers. Milton plays limited minutes when everyone is healthy, but when he gets playing time he can score in bunches. Fantasy managers can expect him to put up good scoring numbers as long as he sees the floor.
