Seven games to round out 2018 with a number of borderline fantasy players making noise around the league. Cody Zeller suffered a broken hand and looks set to miss extended time which will make Willy Hernangomez a hot pickup across many formats. I will break down each of the games and which players could be worth a look as the calendar flips to 2019.

Fantasy Basketball Fringe Report
Players to add
Kevin Huerter, Willy Hernangomez, Danuel House, Garrett Temple, Derrick White
Players to stream
Alex Len, DeAndre Bembry, Austin Rivers, Gerald Green, Bryn Forbes, Marco Belinelli, Tyus Jones, Nerlens Noel, De’Anthony Melton
Indiana Pacers def. Atlanta Hawks 116-108
Pacers
Cory Joseph (22%) – Drop: Joseph continues to see decent minutes on a nightly basis but typically offers very little outside of steals.
Doug McDermott (22%) – Drop
Hawks
Jeremy Lin (49%) – Drop
Alex Len (40%) – Stream: Len filled in for Dewayne Dedmon once again, finishing with 19 points and seven rebounds. As long as he is starting, he is worth rostering in standard formats, however, with no word on when Dedmon will return, Len’s value could be short-lived.
Kevin Huerter (38%) – Add: Huerter dropped a career-high 22 points Monday, including six triples. The 40 minutes were also the most he has seen in his career and at this stage, he needs to be rostered everywhere.
DeAndre Bembry (33%) – Stream: Bembry remained on the bench with Daniel Hamilton moving into the starting lineup, replacing Kent Bazemore. Bembry still played 28 minutes and has now recorded six steals and five blocks across his last three games.
Vince Carter (9%) – Drop
Justin Anderson (6%) – Drop
Alex Poythress (6%) – Drop
Tyler Dorsey (5%) – Drop
Miles Plumlee (3%) – Drop
Daniel Hamilton (1%) – Drop: Hamilton received the first start of his career, covering for Kent Bazemore who is slated to miss up to two weeks. Hamilton played just 16 minutes, finishing with eight points, six rebounds, and three assists. He looked good out there but we will need to see what happens over the next few games.
Charlotte Hornets def. Orlando Magic 125-100
Hornets
Malik Monk (49%) – Watch: Monk exploded for 21 points Sunday, going 7-of-14 from the field in 24 minutes. Jeremy Lamb suffered a hamstring injury and if he is forced to miss time, Monk could be worth taking a flier on.
Miles Bridges (36%) – Drop
Guillermo (Willy) Hernangomez (30%) – Add: Hernangomez finished with 10 points and eight rebounds in 14 minutes during Monday’s blowout victory. The big news to come out of the game was Cody Zeller suffering a broken hand during the third quarter. An injury such as this will likely mean Zeller misses multiple games resulting in a golden opportunity for Hernangomez. His per-36 numbers are very tasty and he should be added in most formats.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (24%) – Drop
Frank Kaminsky (17%) – Drop: With Cody Zeller set to miss multiple games, Kaminsky should enter the rotation on a regular basis but doesn’t provide enough to be considered standard league relevant.
Tony Parker (16%) – Drop
Devonte Graham 9%) – Watch: Graham started the second half for the injured Jeremy Lamb and managed to put up handy contributions across the board. Much like Monk, Graham could have a chance to see additional playing time if Lamb misses any time.
Magic
Jerian Grant (20%) – Drop: Grant moved into the starting lineup Monday, replacing D.J. Augustin who was out with an ankle injury. Grant didn’t do much with his time on the floor and Augustin’s injury doesn’t sound too serious.
Wes Iwundu (5%) – Drop
Isaiah Briscoe (4%) – Drop
Jarell Martin (4%) – Drop
Khem Birch (3%) – Drop
Amile Jefferson (3%) – Drop
Troy Caupain (2%) – Drop
Houston Rockets def. Memphis Grizzlies 113-101
Rockets
Austin Rivers (24%) – Stream: Rivers played 40 minutes Monday but managed just 12 points with very little else. His value comes almost directly from points and threes and while it appears he is going to get plenty of opportunities, he is more of a streamer that an add.
Brandon Knight (16%) – Drop
Gerald Green (13%) – Stream: Green hit six triples Monday, taking advantage of the extra playing time with Eric Gordon on the sidelines. As long as the Rockets have injuries to their backcourt, Green is going to be hot and cold and can be streamed in on those nights his shot is falling.
Danuel House (10%) – Add: House is a borderline add but his ability to defend multiple positions as well as shoot the basketball means he is going to see plenty of court time. He doesn’t offer upside in any one category but could help if you need a bit of everything.
Gary Clark (10%) – Drop
Nene Hilario (5%) – Drop
Grizzlies
Garrett Temple (40%) – Add: Temple doesn’t have a high ceiling but is seeing plenty of court time and can help in points, threes, and steals on most nights.
Dillon Brooks (26%) – Drop
MarShon Brooks (10%) – Drop
Wayne Selden Jr. (10%) – Drop
Jevon Carter (9%) – Drop
Omri Casspi (6%) – Drop
Joakim Noah (6%) – Drop
San Antonio Spurs def. Boston Celtics 120-111
Spurs
Pau Gasol (42%) – Drop
Bryn Forbes (39%) – Stream: Forbes dropped in another three triples Monday and remains a solid streaming option.
Jakob Poeltl (38%) – Drop
Derrick White (37%) – Add: White scored a career-high 22 points Monday while also chipping in across the board. His points came on an unsustainable 8-of-9 shooting and so while these numbers are unlikely to hold, he appears to have found his rhythm and is worth adding in competitive leagues.
Patty Mills (26%) – Drop
Marco Belinelli (22%) – Stream
Davis Bertans (17%) – Watch: Bertans had 17 points including five triples, however, the fact Rudy Gay was out played a big part in his production. If Gay misses another game, Bertans is worth streaming in if you need threes and rebounds.
Dante Cunningham (8%) – Drop
Celtics
Daniel Theis (15%) – Drop
Guerschon Yabusele (5%) – Drop
New Orleans Pelicans def. Minnesota Timberwolves 123-114
Pelicans
Tim Frazier (18%) – Drop: Elfrid Payton returned for Monday’s game which will likely mean Frazier moves back to strictly a backup role, negating any value he had.
Darius Miller (12%) – Drop: Miller hit five triples on his way to 21 points in just 15 minutes Sunday, returning after a one-game absence. Anthony Davis was out which meant other players picked up his usage and so Miller’s production should be viewed as an outlier at this stage.
Jahlil Okafor (10%) – Drop: Okafor started in place of Anthony Davis who was out with an illness but played just 14 minutes, finishing with seven points and seven rebounds.
Cheick Diallo (9%) – Drop
Timberwolves
Tyus Jones (25%) – Stream: Jones had 15 points and 13 assists Monday, continuing to fill in for Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose. As soon as either of those players return to the lineup, Jones will lose basically all of his value. However, if both are forced to miss further time, Jones becomes a must-add player.
Josh Okogie (20%) – Drop
Gorgui Dieng (15%) – Drop
Jerryd Bayless (2%) – Drop
Oklahoma City Thunder def. Dallas Mavericks 122-102
Thunder
Nerlens Noel (36%) – Stream: Noel finished with 15 points Monday, just the fourth time this season he has put up double-digit scoring. He recorded just one block but has now managed at least one block in all but four games making him about as reliable a shot-blocker as you will find on the waivers.
Hamidou Diallo (13%) – Drop
Patrick Patterson (9%) – Drop
Terrance Ferguson (8%) – Drop
Abdel Nader (3%) – Drop
Mavericks
Dwight Powell (21%) – Drop
Dorian Finney-Smith (20%) – Drop: Finney-Smith scored 10 points for the second straight game Monday, adding eight rebounds and one steal. Prior to those games, however, he had managed a total of just six points in three games and so there really is nothing to see here.
Maxi Kleber (17%) – Drop
Jalen Brunson (14%) – Drop
Devin Harris (7%) – Drop
Ryan Broekhoff (3%) – Drop
Golden State Warriors def. Phoenix Suns
Warriors
Jordan Bell (41%) – Drop: Bell saw extra run in garbage time and demonstrated what he can do when afforded the opportunity. Unfortunately, it appears as though this kind of performance is unlikely to happen again anytime soon.
Kevon Looney (30%) – Drop
Jonas Jerebko (20%) – Drop
Andre Iguodala (19%) – Drop: Iguodala has the ability to contribute in a number of areas, although typically, it is on low volume.
Quinn Cook (14%) – Drop
Alfonzo McKinnie (9%) – Drop
Shaun Livingston (7%) – Drop
Suns
De’Anthony Melton (28%) – Stream: Melton racked up another four steals Monday, bringing his average over the past 10 games to 1.9 per game. He offers very little else and so can be regarded purely as a streaming option.
Jamal Crawford (10%) – Drop
Dragan Bender (9%) – Drop
