Training camps are here, and now it is finally time to give you my top 50 PPR rankings list for RBs this season. This list will be the reason you win your draft this year. No need to look anywhere else, I have you covered on the PPR side.
The following RB rankings for PPR are based on strength of schedule, running back committees, new coaching changes, and injury updates. A healthy Christian McCaffrey would be number one on my list, but you have to consider the injuries.
Rankings Overview
Alvin Kamara drops to 10 for me. One, we don’t know if he will be suspended this year for his incident after the Pro Bowl. And two, I don’t trust Jameis Wiston to get him the ball. But, still, for a PPR league, Kamara does break the top 10.
Surprisingly, I have Saquon Barkley right behind Kamara at 11. Barkley had a terrible season, coming back from his ACL injury. But, he got the jitters out, and now this will be the season he goes back to his rookie season. Barkley also has a moderately average to easy schedule this year. Playing teams like the Ravens, Titans and Vikings. All of them finished in the top three for most fantasy points given up to running backs.
He will also face the Commanders twice who gave up the fourth most fantasy points to running backs. Along with a home game against the Texans who gave up the sixth most. That gives Barkley some upside for this season and will be a sneaky second-round pick, as he is ranked lower by other analysts.
Another running back who sneaks up on my list is AJ Dillon. He came alive last season and got a majority of the red zone touches over Aaron Jones. Dillion is one to have on your roster, and could very well be a high-end RB2.
Lastly, Rhamondre Stevenson catches my eye this season. Yes, it will be Damien Harris as the lead back, but Stevenson is the better pass catcher. When Harris was out, Stevenson came alive dropping multiple games and scoring over 20 fantasy points. Be on the lookout for his breakout season this year.
