There was a huge upside when it came to putting together these Week 15 wide receiver rankings. No more bye weeks, and most importantly, it is playoff time.
Nothing is more exciting than this part of the fantasy football season. And I am here to make sure you make it to the championship game.
Week 14 showed a lot of promise going forward for some wide receivers. Jerry Jeudy popped off and finished as the WR1 of the week. Mike Williams came back last week and didn’t miss a step after his ankle injury. And Donovan Peoples-Jones is looking like Deshaun Watson’s favorite target.
As far as injuries go, Deebo Samuel went down again with an ankle injury and Tee Higgins left the game with a hamstring injury. But, no need to worry, these wide receiver rankings will help out when filling out those injury spots.
Wide Receiver Notes:
- Let’s start with DeAndre Hopkins as my WR10 against the Broncos. Hopkins had his worst game of the season last week and that could be concerning since Kyler Murry will be out for the season. Yet, Hopkins has made a career with some mediocre quarterbacks in his time. So I’m not worried if Colt McCoy is throwing to Hopkins. In Weeks 10 and 11. Hopkins finished as the WR15 while McCoy was throwing to him.
- Brandon Aiyuk is my WR21 this week with the possibility that Samuel misses Week 15. Aiyuk had a touchdown last week but only had two receptions for 57 yards. If Samuel is to miss this coming week, Aiyuk jumps up as a top red zone threat.
- Next, I have Peoples-Jones as my WR33 against the Ravens. He led the team last week with 12 targets and came down with eight of them. He ended up with 114 receiving yards. I expect the Browns to keep throwing the ball down the field and this week they have the Ravens. The Ravens are giving up the seventh most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Peoples-Jones should be a flex start this week.
- Lastly, I have Williams as my WR14. Williams showed when healthy he is the main red zone target in this offense. He is a big play waiting to happen. He caught all six of his targets last week to go along with 116 yards and a touchdown. Williams also came down with a 55-yard reception. This week the Chargers have the Titans, who are giving up the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Expect a huge game from Williams

so Mike Williams should have a huge day but you would start DeAndre Hopkins ahead of him? Hopkins is going against Denver, on the road, with Colt McCoy under center. Didn’t the Broncos just intercept Mahomes 3 times last week?
