Week 5 is here, and it is time for another week of wide receiver rankings. The wide receiver position has been the shining point to many fantasy teams this year. Cooper Kupp is still elite and Davante Adams is getting his groove back in Vegas. But, it is tough when you don’t know who to start at your flex or WR2 spot. Thankfully, you have me and my weekly wide receiver rankings lists. So, let’s get into the Week 5 wide receiver rankings and help your team stay undefeated.
Wide Receiver Notes:
- Tee Higgins jumps into the top 10 this week as my WR9. Higgins has shown he is a must-start every week, even as a wide receiver two on a team. He has the Ravens this week who are giving up the most fantasy points to wide receivers at 41.2 fantasy points per game.
- Chris Olave jumps up into the top 20 this week as my WR19. Every week Olave has shown up and even with different quarterbacks. We don’t know if Michael Thomas will play this week. But, even if he does Olave is the number one receiver on this team.
- Brandin Cooks has a great matchup this week against the Jaguars. Cooks is one of those low-key players that isn’t flashy but will drop an easy 20 bomb any week. This game will be a shootout for sure. What Cooks light it up.
- Adam Thielen is slowly making his way back up my rankings. I have him at WR32 this week against the Bears. Chicago will have all their focus on Justin Jefferson this week and I see Thielen snagging some red zone touchdowns. His targets have grown every week, so expect a vintage Thielen this week,
- Lastly, I have DJ Moore at WR39. I want Moore to go off like he was supposed to this season. But, Baker Mayfield is not helping. The Panthers also have a tough matchup against the Niners this week. On Monday Night, the Niners shut down the Rams. I don’t see Moore doing anything this week.
