Fantasy Football 2024: Week 15 RB Rankings

As we roll into my Week 15 RB rankings, let’s get excited for fantasy playoff football. This is the week where it matters most. I’m here to make sure you make it into the second round. We have some interesting pickups this week and some interesting players to bench.

So, let’s get into who I have at the top of my rankings.

Running Back Notes

  • Let’s start with Chuba Hubbard as my RB16 against the Dallas Cowboys. This is a perfect matchup against the Cowboys. On the season they are giving up over 23 fantasy points per game to RBs. Just last week they gave up 123 scrimmage yards and a touchdown to Chase Brown which added up to 21.3 fantasy points. Hubbard has been on a tear in the last few weeks averaging 15.7 fantasy points in his previous five games. Jonathan Brooks tore his ACL which means he will not be a factor in this week’s matchup. Start Hubbard.
  • Next, I have Rachaad White as my RB21 against the Chargers. Ideally, I would have White up higher with Bucky Irving banged up. Irving left last week’s game and that led to White scoring two touchdowns and putting up 23.9 fantasy points. The only thing is the Buccaneers are going against a tough defense in the Chargers. The Chargers are at home this week and have been pretty locked down this year only giving up 16.2 fantasy points per game to RBs. This is a risky move to start him this week, even if Irving is out.
  • Another guy who has a tough matchup this week is Najee Harris against the Eagles. The Eagle’s defense has been elite against the run game, only giving up 15.9 fantasy points per game to RBs. Also, they have only given up nine touchdowns to RBs on the season, which ranks them as the sixth best. Harris has been decent as of late, but he is very touchdown-dependent. Harris does get a ton of carries but has not eclipsed over 100 rushing yards since Week 8. Given the Eagles don’t give up a ton of touchdowns to RBs, I would bench Harris this week. In deep leagues he is startable, but he will only go for around 12 fantasy points this week.
  • Lastly, I have Jahmyr Gibbs as my RB5 against the Bills. This will be the game of the week in terms of high-scoring fantasy points. The Bills defense is giving up the third most fantasy points per game to RBs in 24.4. Just last week 22.7 fantasy points to Kyren Williams. Gibbs and the Lions have been on fire the last few weeks and I expect the Lions to make a statement in this game. Gibbs’ worst RB finish this season has been 26. He also hasn’t scored a rushing touchdown in two weeks, so I expect him to have a bounce-back game this week.
