Fantasy Football 2024: Week 18 RB Rankings

As we roll into my Week 18 RB rankings, this is the last time this season you’ll get to hear my rankings advice. Now, if you are reading this, that means you are in your fantasy football championship game. Unfortunately, if you have players like Saquon Barkley, Kyren Williams, or Joe Mixon, you might need a replacement. Barkley is an interesting call as the Eagles are locked in at the two seeds and cannot get the one seed, but Barkley is only 101 rushing yards away from breaking the single-season record. So, there is a chance he could play. But, if he doesn’t there are a few sleepers this week that could score big.

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax this season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2025 season.

Running Back Notes

  • Let’s start with Bucky Irving as my RB2 against the Saints this week. The Buccaneers are one win away from locking up the division and they couldn’t have a better team to play than the Saints. The Saints have been done since Week 15 and I expect the Buccaneers to roll past them with ease. This is great for Irving as they should be ahead all game which gives more opportunities for him to run the clock out. Irving has shown he can be the workhorse in this offense and I expect him to get another 20 carries this week along with a touchdown.
  • Next, I have Najee Harris as my RB13 against the Bengals. Now, Harris has not been a great fantasy option as of the last four weeks. But, this is a game in which the Steelers could eliminate their division rival from the playoffs. On average the Bengals defense is allowing just over 20 fantasy points per game to RBs. The Steelers play best when their run game is rolling and I expect Harris to lead them this week.
  • Lastly, I have Tyjae Spears as my RB20 against the Texans. The Texans have no reason to risk any more injuries to their players as they have already locked up the division. On the other hand, I think this is the game where Spears has a huge game. The Titans aren’t playing for anything at this point and I can see Spears having a game this week. He has been hot the last three weeks and I expect him to go out with a bang for Week 18. I highly doubt Tony Pollard plays much this week and Spears is likely to get over 20 carries this week. There is a great chance Spears can be the league winner for fantasy teams this week.
