Fantasy Football 2024: Week 18 Wide Receiver Rankings

We finally made it to my Week 18 wide receiver rankings. Many of you are done but for some of you, Week 18 is the championship game. This week is tied with Week 1 for being the most challenging in setting a lineup. You might be without some of your stud wide receivers this week such as Puka Nacua, A.J. Brown, and Cooper Kupp. The Rams have clinched their division and whether they win or lose this week will not affect their seeding. The Eagles have locked up the two seed and have no chance of getting the one seed. So, it is likely they rest their players this week.

What!? Your fantasy football league wasn’t hosted on Fantrax this season!? Once you see how Fantrax stacks up to the competition, we think you’ll be singing a different tune in the 2024 season.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Let’s start with St. Brown as my WR2 this week. Now the Lions need to beat the Vikings this week to secure the one seed, otherwise, if they lose they fall to the fifth seed. This game should be a shootout as neither the Lions nor the Vikings want to fall to the five seed. I expect Justin Jefferson and St. Brown to have monster games. St. Brown has a touchdown in three straight games and I expect him to step up in this must-win game. Also, the Vikings and the Lions are the worst defenses against fantasy wide receivers. This means this game could have a combined score of 80.
  • Courtland Sutton is another wide receiver who can have a huge week this week against the Chiefs. I have Sutton as my WR10. The Chiefs already have the one seed locked up and should be resting their players this week. The Broncos need to win this week to have a chance at making the playoffs. Sutton has been ok as of late, scoring a touchdown in two of his last three games. But, he has yet to score more than 20 fantasy points since Week 12. However, he should get a ton of looks this week and the Broncos should blow out the Chiefs second unit.
  • Lastly, I have Davante Adams as my WR20 and would lean toward benching him. The Jets are already eliminated from the playoffs and are going against the toughest fantasy defense against wide receivers in the Dolphins. Also, the Dolphins are on the bubble of making the playoffs. So, I expect them to play with everything they got this week. Although Adams has been a late-year fantasy savior, after last week’s blowout loss I think his fantasy magic is gone. The Jets are just playing for their draft position at this point and see no reason why Adams should be out there all game.
