Fantasy Football 2024: Week 4 Wide Receiver Rankings

The young studs are starting to take the league by storm this year. Going into Week 4, Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Rashee Rice all jumped into the top 10 for my wide receiver rankings. All three of these guys look like league winners going forward. Nabers and Harrison are the explosive receivers while Rice looks like a slant RAC master like Michael Thomas back in the day.

However, there is one wide receiver room that dropped significantly this week and that is the Dolphins. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle drop outside the top-10 and Waddle drops outside the top-20. Hill can still go off at any time which is why he stays at WR11, but until the Dolphins figure out a quarterback replacement, both of these guys could be benched week by week.

WR Notes

  • Nabers is my WR6 this week and man oh man, this young receiver looks like he is going to be a problem for defenses. In his last two games, he has 18 catches for 205 yards and three touchdowns. This week he has the Cowboys who are giving up 21.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. I expect Daniel Jones to only look at Nabers’ way and Nabers will be open.
  • Harrison is my WR2 this week and is playing the worst fantasy secondary in the league. The Commanders are giving up 44.7 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Harrison is sure to feast in this game. He has three touchdowns in his last two games and after a loss to the Lions last week, I expect the Cardinals to come out slinging the ball.
  • Mike Evans is my WR13 this week and you may think that is too high as it looks like Chris Godwin is the WR1 on the team. The reason is Mike Evans has the Eagles this week, who are giving up 34.7 fantasy points per game to wide receivers. If Evans is to have a bounce-back game, that game is going to be this week. The Eagles gave Chris Olave a bounce-back game last week and I expect Evans to hit them over the top with two deep touchdown catches.
  • Lastly, I have Darnell Mooney as my WR34 against the Saints. Mooney is my sleeper for the week and looks like a great flex option. He has 15 targets over his last two games and he turned that into 11 catches for 154 yards and one touchdown. He scored double digits in both of those games and I expect this success to continue.
