Fantasy Football 2024: Week 6 RB Rankings

This past week was the week of the sleeper running backs. Tank Bigsby, Rico Dowdle, Chase Brown and Trey Sermon all showed out. Going into my Week 6 RB rankings a lot of these guys rank toward the top. Jonathan Taylor could miss another week, and Sermon showed he can handle the duties. Also if you have Kyren Williams, Kareem Hunt, or Aaron Jones on a bye then you might want to pick up Bigsby or Dowdle.

Running Back Notes

• Let’s start with Breece Hall who is my RB10 this week. He does have a great matchup against the Bills this week. The Bills are giving up over 30 fantasy points per game to running backs this season. However, the Jets don’t look great. They can’t move the ball and the run game has not been this season. Hall has yet to go over 65 yards this year. He does make it inside my top 10 based on how bad the Bills are. I think both teams need a win and it should be a high-scoring game.
• Bijan Robinson is my RB5 this week even though he has not looked like a top-five RB this year. But, the Falcons look to be rolling and they have the Panthers this week. The Panthers are giving up 29.6 fantasy points per game to RBs this year. The Falcons need Robinson to get involved and this is the game it happens.
• Lastly, I have Josh Jacobs as my RB8. It looked as if we should give up on Jacobs and trade him. But, Jordan Love is back and he opens up the run game. While Love was out, the Packers had no passing game and it left Jacobs out to dry. Just last week Jacobs got 19 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown. On top of that, this week Jacobs has the Cardinals who are giving up just over 25 fantasy points per game to RBs. The Packers are a high-powered offense and I think Jacobs is going to be a problem going forward.
