Fantasy Football 2024: Week 6 Wide Receiver Rankings

It took a few weeks, but the Ja’Marr Chase fantasy owners can finally stop holding their breath on Chase being a bust. Going into my Week 6 wide receivers rankings, Chase moves to the number my number one spot. Others who made a huge jump last week were DJ Moore, Drake London, Brandon Aiyuk, and Garrett Wilson.

Now, I don’t see Kirk Cousins throwing for 500 yards every week, but London has shown he is a top target, as he now has three touchdowns on the season. As for Wilson, he saw a week-high 22 targets. But Aaron Rodgers still doesn’t look like a reliable quarterback going forward. I would still halt him being a WR1 on a roster this season.

Wide Receiver Notes

  • Stefon Diggs is my WR12 this week against the New England Patriots. The Patriots are a tough defense which keeps Diggs out of being in the top 10 this week. Nico Collins looks to be out this week and Tank Dell hasn’t shown the production he put out last season. But, Diggs has been fairly consistent all season. He has at least six or more targets in every game and that should grow as Collins misses some games. Diggs is just missing touchdowns at this point, but that could change this week.
  • A.J. Brown is finally back and I would 100% start him this week. He is my WR6 against the Browns, who are giving up 28.6 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year. The Eagles are 2-2 right now, and this is a must-win game against a mediocre Browns team. I expect the Eagles to come out and dominate after following their bye week.
  • On the other side, I have Amari Cooper as my WR27, and is worth benching this week. Until Jameis Winston becomes the starter then I would not start Cooper going forward. On top of that, Cooper flat-out looks lost. He is in a deep slump and the hope is for him to turn it around, but there is no telling when that could happen. Bench Cooper this week.
  • Lastly, I have Terry McLaurin as my WR16. He has a great matchup this week against the Ravens. The Ravens just gave up five touchdowns to the Bengals wide receivers. I don’t expect Jayden Daniels to throw five touchdowns this week, but I do expect him to throw for a ton of yards and most of them going to McLaurin. In McLaurin’s last three games, he has 264 yards and two touchdowns. McLaurin is an easy WR2 start this week.
