Fantasy Football Week 11 Matchup Winners
Commanders vs. Eagles (Thursday Night Football)
Terry McLaurin opened up the year with low Fantasy scores in his first two games which caused great concern for managers, but then went on to average 17.55 Fantasy PPG across the next eight weeks of football. In half of those eight games Terry finished with over 100 receiving yards and he has scored six touchdowns during that eight-game stretch. Jayden Daniels has attempted 38/34 passes in two of his last three games, and this Eagles offense should create a game script he should have to do the same. This will boost McLaurin’s opportunity in Week 11 for McLaurin who is averaging 6.7 targets per game.
AJ Brown is coming off of a 109 receiving-yard game, which marks his third week over 100 receiving yards through six appearances this year. DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert have both been limited as of Tuesday’s practice with injuries, which could mean a major emphasis on AJB in Week 11. Last year AJ Brown finished with 175 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4 then 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 8 against Washington. Gear up for a major week.
Packers vs. Bears
Chicago allowed Rhamondre Stevenson to rush for 74 yards last week, James Conner to rush for 107 yards in Week 9, and the Commanders to rack up 168 tea, rushing yards in Week 8. Josh Jacobs has rushed for 127 yards (and two touchdowns) and then 95 yards across the last two weeks. Jacobs has also scored 20+ Fantasy Points in two of his last three games, which shows some recent upside with his first season in Green Bay. Chicago could present another 95+ rushing day for Jacobs for the third game played in a row.
With the firing of Bears’ Offensive Coordinator, Shane Waldron could come more of an emphasis of Cole Kmet in the Chicago playbook. Kmet caught 10 of 11 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 for 25.7 Fantasy Points, then caught all five targets in Week 6 for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and scored 24 Fantasy Points. Kmet has earned just five targets across the last three games played but could see an expanded role with the Bears’ coaching change. The Packers also allow the 12th most Fantasy PPG to tight ends while ranking 20 or worst in PPG allowed to other positions which could further emphasize Kmet this week.
Jaguars vs. Lions
Mac Jones will get another start in Week 11 for an injured Trevor Lawrence. In Week 10, Evan Engram caught six passes from Jones while the rest of the Jaguars finished with eight total catches. Engram commanded a 36.36% target share in that Week 10 matchup for the Jaguars. So while the Lions are not a great matchup for tight ends, that Engram usage might mean the only receiving option you can actually trust with Mac Jones starting again.
Jared Goff is set up with a great matchup in Week 11 following two really down Fantasy weeks in a row. The Jaguars allow the third-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks and the third-most passing yards per game. Goff has finished six weeks with multiple passing touchdowns, four weeks with 280+ passing yards, and two weeks above 25 Fantasy Points. This Jaguars matchup is the perfect “get right” week for Fantasy Football, and after five interceptions last week, I am sure Goff is looking to do so for his own confidence as well.
Raiders vs. Dolphins
Jakobi Meyers has made the case to be a weekly FLEX play across his last two games. Across weeks 8/9 upon return from missing two full games Meyers has earned 18 targets, caught 14 of them for 52/105 receiving yards, scored a touchdown, and totaled 17.2/19.25 Fantasy Points. Meyers and Brock Bowers are the only two options in the entire Raiders offense you can trust right now for Fantasy Football, and in a game against the Dolphins there should be plenty of passing attempts by Las Vegas.
The Raiders allow the sixth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the 11th-most rushing yards per game this season, which lines up nicely for De’Von Achane. Achane played 70% of the snaps in Week 10 and finished with 17 total touches which was ten more touches than the combination of Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Wright. Although Achane did not explode for Fantasy, he recorded five catches which marks three straight weeks catching five or more and five times this season in doing so. Achane’s ceiling is high due to the pass-catching role and his big-play ability as a runner and receiver has meant four weeks of 23+ Fantasy Points this year.
Rams vs. Patriots
Kyren Williams has scored 10.5/11.2 Fantasy Points the last two weeks, which is well below his usual expectation, but in Week 11 he bounces back for Fantasy Football. The Patriots allow the seventh-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the 10th-most rushing yards per game this season. Kyren has gone cold from scoring rushing touchdowns the last three weeks without any, after scoring in all six of his first games with eight total rushing touchdowns during that span. Encouraging last week was also Williams’ second time across the last three weeks with five receptions. The Patriots present a great “get right” matchup. He will score.
In deeper Fantasy Football formats take a shot on sophomore Kayshon Boutte this week, who quietly has led the Patriots’ wide receiver room in targets across the last three weeks. Boutte has earned six targets for three straight games now and finished with over 45 receiving yards in two of them. The Rams allow the eighth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the 11th-most passing yards per game this season which could present a FLEX-worthy week for Boutte again in deeper formats.
Browns vs. Saints
Dare I say it… we get a big Nick Chubb week in Week 11. Chubb came back from that horrendous injury from last year in Week 7 to rush 11 times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Chubb followed the next two games up with 16 rushing attempts for 52 yards and 15 attempts for 39 yards. Minimal efficiency in his three games back from injury, but it is nice to see him getting the touches and now he is coming off of a BYE Week 10. The Saints allow the third-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the sixth-most rushing yards per game this season which presents a great opportunity for Chubb to flash his historic rushing upside. Chubb likely is still not close to his former self but talent is talent and this man has four seasons of over 1,000 and two seasons of over 14,00 rushing yards under his belt.
Alvin Kamara is the best receiver for the Saints right now – do not let a random Marquez Valdes-Scantling spike week trick you into thinking otherwise. Kamara has caught somewhere between five to seven passes for seven straight weeks and has finished with 55, 60, and 54 receiving yards the last three games now. It is extremely hard in PPR formats for a running back to bust when their receiving usage is this high. Kamara continues to be one of the safest bets for the position in Fantasy Football.
Ravens vs. Steelers
The Steelers may not be a smash matchup for any particular position, but I do want to talk some Mark Andrews here briefly who is coming off of his best receiving day of the season last week. Andrews finished with season-highs in all of targets (seven), receptions (six), and receiving yards (68) last week with a touchdown scoring 18.8 Fantasy Points. Andrews has scored 14+ Fantasy Points in four of his last five games with two of those games above 18 Fantasy Points. Andrews has been a monster in the end zone during this five-game stretch, scoring five touchdowns. We are once again confident in starting Mark Andrews for Fantasy Football.
Russell Wilson has unlocked George Pickens, and now Pickens gets the best matchup for wide receivers in Week 11 against a Ravens defense allowing the most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the most passing yards per game this season. The Ravens actually allow 30.8 more passing yards per game than any other team in the NFL this season. Across the last three games played Pickens has finished with 111, 74, and 91 receiving yards with two touchdowns (and a third that was called back) during this span for 22.1, 11.4, and 20.5 Fantasy Points. The consistency in yards produced and touchdown scoring with Russell Wilson should be extremely appealing heading into Week 11 against the Ravens.
Vikings vs. Titans
The Titans allow the 12th-most Fantasy PPG to running backs this season, which could be a solid matchup if the game script means a first-half Vikings big lead for the lead RB1. Aaron Jones is the RB1 who has had a very solid season in Minnesota, but has been limited with a ribs injury. Jones has finished weeks with 94 (Week 1), 102 (Week 3), 93 (Week 4), 93 (Week 7), and 88 (Week 10) rushing yards, has four games of four or more catches, and four weeks of 17+ Fantasy Points. Cam Akers might be a good running back to stash in place of Jones, who rushed for 46 yards on just six carries in Week 9 and then finished with 14 touches in Week 10.
After not playing for three straight games Will Levis returned to throw for 175 yards and two touchdowns, which is encouraging for Calvin Ridley who has been playing much better football the last three games. Ridley caught five of his nine targets last week for 84 yards and both of Levis’ touchdowns for 25.4 Fantasy Points in Week 10. Back in Week 8 Ridley caught 10 of his 15 targets for 143 receiving yards which was 22.6 Fantasy Points. Following the Week 5 BYE, Ridley has earned the third-most targets from Weeks 6-10 and has had two major performances across the last three weeks. The Vikings allow the third-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the seventh-most passing yards per game.
Colts vs. Jets
In case you missed it, the Colts announced that Anthony Richardson will start for the rest of the season. Richardson scored over 21 Fantasy Points in both of his full games played as a rookie last season, opened up 2024 with a score of 27.08 Fantasy Points, and then scored under 13 Fantasy Points in his other four full games this year. All eyes will be on whether he can be the Fantasy Football stud a lot of us thought he could be.
Just as Garrett Wilson was heating up for Fantasy Football, the Jets had a down passing Week 10. Across Weeks 5-9 Wilson recorded the second-most receiving yards with three weeks over 100 yards and totaled the most Fantasy Points with an average score of 22.6. The Colts allow the 12th-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and the sixth-most passing yards per game this season which presents a good week for Wilson to get back on track in his breakout season for Fantasy Football.
Falcons vs. Broncos
Weeks 6-10, there has not been a hotter running back in Fantasy Football than Bijan Robinson who has averaged 24.7 Fantasy PPG during this span and totaled the most Fantasy Points for the position. The Broncos have been a tougher matchup through the air, which could further emphasize the playmaking skillset of the Falcons’ stud running back. Bijan is coming off of a 116 yardrushing day with two rushing touchdowns which meant a season-high 29.4 Fantasy Points which is extremely encouraging heading into Week 11.
The Bo Nix to Courtland Sutton connection has been red-hot the last three weeks, with Sutton producing 100, 122, and 70 receiving yards during this span with a touchdown last week. Sutton has been targeted 11, 10, and nine times in the last three weeks and has finished with 17.12, 23.28, and 19 Fantasy Points. The Falcons allow the ninth-most Fantasy PPG to wide receivers and also the ninth-most passing yards per game this season which makes Sutton a continued must-start.
Seahawks vs. 49ers
DK Metcalf is off of the injury report, and while expectations are there that he will be the WR1 for the Seahawks do not let that and a BYE week overshadow Jaxon Smith-Njigba’as massive 37 Fantasy Points in Week 9. JSN caught seven of his 13 targets for 180 yards and two touchdowns the last time he played, and was trending up from a 69 receiving yard day the week prior. JSN should continue to be a big part of the game plan this week in a tough matchup against a solid 49ers offense.
Brock Purdy has been on fire in his last four games played with scores of 24.1, 20.18, 26, and 23.82 Fantasy Points in Weeks 6-10 (BYE in Week 9). Purdy is coming off of a season-high 353 passing yards in Week 10 with two passing touchdowns. Purdy has also rushed for three touchdowns across Weeks 7-8 and has already had his best rushing season with 227 yards to date. The Seahawks allow the 12th-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks this season, and Purdy is in that “must-start” category for the position.
Chiefs vs. Bills
Isiah Pacheco remains limited at practice and is not likely to play in Week 11, which means continue to fire up Kareem Hunt who has been one of the safest plays for the position as a Chief. Weeks 5-10 Hunt has produced 18.7, 22.3, 13.3, 18.7, and 17 Fantasy Points which makes him look very bust-proof. Hunt finished with a season-best receiving stat line last week catching seven of 10 targets for 65 yards, which comes after a seson-high 106 rushing yards in Week 9. Five rushing touchdowns for Hunt as well across the last five games. The Bills allow the second-most Fantasy PPG to running backs this season which is a smash matchup for a guy who has been hot.
Via Statmuse “Josh Allen has a passer rating of 97.7 with 999 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in 4 games versus the Chiefs in his career”. This is a matchup Allen I am sure has a personal vendetta against due to previous playoff losses and a true rivalry with Patrick Mahomes.
Bengals vs. Chargers (Sunday Night Football)
While the Chargers are not a great matchup for any specific position, Chase Brown has given us major reasons the last two weeks to be in Fantasy lineups which is evident by his 26.7 and 22.4 Fantasy points scored. Brown rushed 27 times for 120 yards and caught five passes for 37 yards in Week 9. Brown then went on to rush 13 times for 42 yards and a touchdown, then catch a season-high nine of a season-high 11 targets for a season-high 52 receiving yards in Week 10. Brown is earning that RB1 role.
Justin Herbert started the season as a non-fantasy football factor for the first six weeks of football but has turned things around with three top-12 performances in a row. Herbert has produced 24.06, 19.48, and 19.76 Fantasy Points in the last three games with five passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown during this span. In Week 7 Herbert threw for 349 yards and in Week 8 he rushed for 49 yards which shows some dual-threat potential. The Bengals allow the fifth-most Fantasy PPG to quarterbacks this season and with Herbert throwing over 30 attempts in three of his last five games you would expect this game script to mean another week doing so.
Texans vs. Cowboys (Monday Night Football)
Joe Mixon has been absolutely electric this season after becoming a Texan, with Fantasy scores of 26.8 (Week 1), 27.2 (Week 6), 26.4 (Week 7), 23.4 (Week 8), 16.6 (Week 9), and 17 (Week 10) Fantasy Points. Basically every game this man has been healthy has meant being a major Fantasy Football factor. Five weeks over 100 rushing yards with eight total touchdowns through seven appearances has been major production. Mixon finished with a season-high 44 receiving yards as well just last week. The Cowboys allow the fourth-most Fantasy PPG to running backs and the second-most rushing yards per game this season.
After no player scored nine Fantasy Points last week in a Cooper Rush led offense, it is hard to trust any Cowboy in Week 11. Rico Dowdle has had two decent rushing days in the last two games played, and CeeDee Lamb is still #good so I guess you can take shots there but it looks rough for Dallas.
