We are one quarter into the 2020 Fantasy Football season. It has been one of the hardest to analyze when it comes to Fantasy Football. We are seeing far too many injuries and the lack of preparation has been clear for many NFL teams this season. These two things are showing that Fantasy QBs are even more important. It’s a weekly game and we must adjust to all circumstances in our Week 5 Quarterback Rankings.
Say what?! Your fantasy football league isn’t using Fantrax this season? Unthinkable! Check out all the features Fantrax has to offer, and we think you’ll be singing a different tune for the coming season.
It is the first week of real bye weeks as you will not have the red-hot Aaron Rodgers or Matthew Stafford available in Week 5. Unfortunately, you will not have Cam Newton this week either as he makes his way off the COVID-19 List. There should be some solid options available on the waiver wire if you need to replace these guys. Some lower owned QBs with favorable matchups include Gardner Minshew vs Houston and Teddy Bridgewater against Atlanta. Some recently impressive play along with these favorable matchups has Minshew and Bridgewater both in the top 12 of the Week 5 Quarterback Rankings.
Believe it or not, we have some positive injury news coming into Week 5 as we should see the return of Jimmy Garoppolo in a great matchup with Miami after missing two weeks with an ankle sprain. Drew Brees makes his way into the top 10 of the Week 5 Quarterback rankings, thanks in large part to his number one receiver Michael Thomas also returning from an ankle sprain. This year especially we are getting used to bad news on the injury front but expect these two QBs to have good games here in Week 5.
