We see some familiar faces return this week, but also lose the likes of LeSean McCoy, A.J. Green, Dez Bryant and Russell Wilson to the bye. It would be nice to label Week 6 as the most predictable slate of games, but with the Jaguars sitting 3-2, I don’t even know anymore. Don’t get too down, though! There are plenty of money matchups to take advantage of this week, like the Dolphins’ trip to Atlanta or the Browns’ visit to Houston. Of course, if the last few weeks have taught us anything, it’s that this is a wide-open year in the NFL. Here are my Week 6 rankings:
Quarterback Rankings
Kirk Cousins is back from vacay, and he returns to a fairly likable matchup at home against the 49ers. San Francisco’s defense has allowed the fourth most plays of 40 yards or more this season, and if you’re rolling with Cousins in your starting lineup, you’ll be happy to know he’s thrown for 203 yards and 3 TDs on deep routes. If you’re after some much larger numbers, though, did you know 7,114 of Tom Brady’s 63,284 career yards have come against the New York Jets? He’s bumped down to third this week purely because Matt Ryan’s matchup against Miami is too juicy to ignore. Still, Brady vs. Gang Green is normally a bloodbath.

Running Back Rankings
Todd Gurley and Leonard Fournette owners, raise your hands if you feel a mighty sweet week coming on? The Rams and Jaguars both rank inside the Top 10 in rushing yards allowed this season, and funnily enough, both backs also rank inside the Top 3 in fantasy points so far. Only 51 yards separate Gurley and Fournette on the ground, but the story really could be told in the air this week. Gurley is averaging 11 yards per reception this year, followed closely by Fournette’s 9.3. And guess what else? Both the Jaguars and the Rams also rank inside the Top 5 in points scored this year. Be ready for a statistical explosion!

Wide Receiver Rankings
Ben Roethlisberger’s stinker last week is enough to keep you awake at night. As an Antonio Brown owner, should you be worried? Well, he does own 341 career yards vs. the Kansas City Chiefs alongside three TDs, so you tell me. Another story to watch will be Alshon Jeffery versus the resurgent Panthers defense. Carolina held the Lions’ receivers to 32.6 fantasy points last week in their three-point win, so this will be a big test for Carson Wentz and Co.

Tight End Rankings
So you’ve lost Charles Clay for the time being? Bad luck, good thing there is a new must-own tight end emerging each and every week. If you’re in a tricky spot, Austin Hooper or Cameron Brate might be your best plays. Since we’re on the topic of streamers, though, Benjamin Watson is one you’ll probably want to avoid. Joe Flacco spread the ball around nicely against the Raiders last Sunday, but for the third straight game, Watson posted fewer than 50 yards. Things probably won’t get any easier this week, either, as the Bears have allowed just 144 yards versus tight ends this season.
