Week 7 is going to be a tough one in some leagues, as most of the top QBs for the week are over 70% rostered in leagues. Keep an eye on the rankings and see which of the top 12 may be available. If you don’t find those ones, there are some upside plays coming in around QB15. Let’s take a look at those guys as I expect some to have big games. Here are my favorite Week 7 Quarterback Streamers.

Week 7 Quarterback Streamers
Joe Burrow vs CLE (63% rostered in Yahoo and 51% in ESPN)
It has been a tough couple of weeks for the rookie QB as he has not thrown a touchdown in his last two games. I’m giving him a pass, on the road against the Ravens and the Colts is a nightmare for a rookie with a struggling offensive line. He did manage over 300 passing yards and a rushing touchdown last week. He has gone over 300 yards in four of six games this season, showing there is a solid floor just due to volume.
This will also be Burrow’s second matchup with the Cleveland Browns. This gives him his first chance to review some NFL film and find some weaknesses to exploit. This should come easier as the first Browns matchup was the best performance of his young career. What is most important about that Week 2 stat line is the 61 pass attempts. I am expecting high volume once again as Joe Mixon looks to be on the wrong side of questionable for this matchup. The Bengals couldn’t run the ball with someone of Joe Mixon’s talent, so I can’t say I’m expecting them to turn to the run game without him.
What should be a positive game script, high passing volume, and good weapons in the passing game, this is the perfect recipe to headline the Week 7 quarterback streamers. On top of that, the over/under for the game is 50.5. Find Joe Burrow where you can and start him up in Week 7.
Teddy Bridgewater @ NO (44% rostered in Yahoo and 33% in ESPN)
Teddy Two Gloves is back in the thick of things as a solid Week 7 Quarterback Streamer. I know some might think this one is crazy as he is playing in New Orleans, but the Saints don’t have the defense you expected them to this season. Here are the first five QB performances against the Saints this season:
Tom Brady – 248 yards 3 total touchdowns (One rushing)
Derek Carr – 284 yards 3 touchdowns
Aaron Rodgers – 295 total yards 3 touchdowns
Matthew Stafford – 227 total yards 3 touchdowns
Justin Herbert – 272 total yards 4 touchdowns
Sign me up for that all day. Christian McCaffery is still out with his ankle injury, and Mike Davis struggled in the ground game last week. Another positive game script against a softer defense than the Bears last week, Bridgewater should find success with Robby Anderson and DJ Moore on the outside. New Orleans banged up secondary gave up 109 yards and two touchdowns to Mike Williams in Week 5 and should have a hard time with these WRs for the Panthers. Fire up Teddy as a streamer with a solid floor in Week 7.
Ben Roethlisberger (85% rostered in Yahoo and 81% in ESPN) and Ryan Tannehill (81% rostered in Yahoo and 66% in ESPN) PIT @ TEN
These two may be available in your league, either way, they needed to be in the Week 7 Quarterback Streamers column just because I really wanted to talk about this game. This is my Week 7 game of the week and as much as we want to be scared of the Steelers defense, I’m actually expecting there to be a good amount of points in this game. One thing the Steelers excel at is stopping the run, and when I say excel, that is an understatement.
As good as Derrick Henry is, I expect him to struggle in this matchup. As good as Tannehill has been, I expect him to continue to be. The Titans will need to rely on Tannehill more than ever here and I expect him to continue making plays in this battle of the undefeated. Coming off back to back 30pt fantasy performances, I’m confident in Tannehill that I’m going to keep rolling him out there as my QB1.
The QB on the other side of the ball seems a little easier to be confident in. The Titans have allowed at least 250 yards and two touchdowns in each of their last four games. Last week Deshaun Watson had over 350 yards and four touchdowns, so it’s safe to say they can be had on defense. It may not be showing up in the statistics but the Steelers passing game is certainly clicking right now. Chase Claypool has officially arrived and Diontae Johnson is making his return from injury, these two paired with Juju Smith-Schuster is just too many weapons for the Titans to handle.
Ben Roethlisberger should have plenty of opportunities in this one as it is going to be tough for the Titans to possess the ball as long as they usually do with the expected struggle from their run game. Big Ben will get the ball to his weapons and actually has one of the higher ceilings on the week. Don’t shy away from this game, start both QBs here in a sneaky high scoring game.
