Fantrax MLB Injury Report

Corbin Carroll – OF Arizona Diamondbacks

Some clarity on the Carroll situation. Essentially, he’s in pain, but it doesn’t look like anything serious. Consider him DTD.

Raisel Iglesias – RP Atlanta Braves

Not only is Iglesias pitching well, but he looks to be efficient. It has been said that he won’t need to make back-to-back appearances before returning. There’s been no indication of how many appearances either. Just know that he’s close and it could be any day this week.

Kenley Jansen – RP Boston Red Sox

Looks like a cloudy situation on the day that lineups lock. The team plays today, so Jansen is likely out for that, and possibly the entire Jays’ series. After that, it’s up in the air, but the guess is he’ll return by the weekend.

Andrew Benintendi – OF Chicago White Sox

Consider Benintendi DTD unless otherwise told.

Luis Robert – OF Chicago White Sox

This was after the game on Saturday where Robert infamously trotted his way to first base instead of running out a ground ball. The team’s manager said that he needs to communicate with staff better to let them know of any ailments they may have.

Reynaldo Lopez – RP Chicago White Sox, Eloy Jimenez – OF Chicago White Sox

Lopez will likely get some time to rest and recuperate due to his dead arm. He may require a trip to the Injured List, but nothing has been made official. As for Jimenez, while he still managed four hits with leg soreness, it’s unclear how sustainable this is to continue pushing him forward. Perhaps some time off would help, though he has the reputation of a slow healer.

Jose Urquidy – SP Houston Astros

More will be known today, but it’s possible that he misses time on the Injured List. Stay tuned.

Garrett Cooper – 1B Miami Marlins

Consider Cooper DTD until we hear anything different.

Brandon Woodruff – SP Milwaukee Brewers

The good news is that if all goes well, Woodruff can return before July, which is positive. The bad news is that any setback whatsoever, even the tiniest one, can result in a post-ASB return at best.

Milwaukee Brewers Injury Updates

It sounds like the team will be getting some reinforcements by the end of this week in Houser and Taylor. Both are needed as the team is reeling a bit. As for Urias, he is eligible to come off of the 60-day Injured List at the end of this month but still has many hurdles to overcome.

Tyler Mahle – SP Minnesota Twins

Ouch. Mahle will miss at least four weeks with an injury, and then be re-evaluated. There’s no telling what that re-evaluation will say. While more will be known in June, he can be dropped in redraft leagues if there isn’t an IL spot available for him, due to the vagueness and length of this injury.

Luis Severino – SP New York Yankees

That’s great news for Severino and for fantasy owners everywhere. That said, it’ll likely be a lengthy rehab assignment.

Carlos Rodon – SP New York Yankees

Interesting development here, in that he could be just in his ramp-up stage and not necessarily the healing stage of his return. The key word here is “could”, as that’s speculation from the information that’s been presented.

Bryce Harper – OF Philadelphia Phillies

Words cannot express how incredible a feat this would be.

Alex Wood – SP San Francisco Giants

It was originally believed that Wood’s absence would be a long one, but here we are with him already throwing bullpen sessions. Great news, though he still has to complete the simulated game before rehab. That said, things are looking up for Wood.

Ty France – 1B Seattle Mariners

It looks like nothing more than a day off for France who is under the weather.
