NFL DFS Late Slate Picks Week 6

There are only 4 games in the late slate this week. Both DraftKings and FanDuel run a series of tournaments and cash games that are just for the late afternoon slate of games. If you read my Money Makers and Heart Breakers for the Main Slate, you know how the write-ups will go for the most part. We only talk about who to play in this one. They are my favorite Week 6 NFL DFS picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for the Sunday afternoon games.

Week 6 NFL DFS Late Slate Picks

Quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins

The Falcons play the Panthers in Week 6. The Panthers give up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing teams’ quarterbacks. Every single team has passed for multiple touchdowns against the Panthers this season. Every team. Captain Kirk is coming off a 509-yard 4-touchdown game. You might think this is chasing the points, but it isn’t. That was also a great match-up. Cousins is building chemistry with these wide receivers weekly. Cousins to the Moon(ey).

Dak Prescott

The Cowboys play the Lions in Week 6 the Lions give up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Every quarterback has thrown a touchdown against the Lions this season that has played them. Quarterbacks also average over 300 combined total yards against this defense. Dak is going to air it out.

Running Backs

David Montgomery/Jahmyr Gibbs

The Lions play the Cowboys in Week 6. The Cowboys give up the fifth most fantasy points to running backs. The Lions like to run the football with both Gibbs and Montgomery. Looks for the Lions to run all over the Cowboys. Play Gibbs or Montgomery, heck play them both.

David Montgomery

Jahmyr Gibbs

$7,800 on FanDuel

Bijan Robinson

I know Bijan has not been great in some people’s eyes. I want you to understand he has gone up against tremendously tough defenses for 5 straight weeks. That all changes against the Panthers. The Panthers give up the second most fantasy points to opposing teams running backs. Running backs have scored 10 touchdowns against the Panthers so far this season. That is an average of 2 per game. Robinson goes above and Bijan in Week 6.

$6,600 on DraftKings
$8,500 on FanDuel

Najee Harris

Harris has not been super-efficient this season. But if Jaylen Warren is out he will surely dominate the running back snaps and touches for the Steelers. He averages 19 touches per game and that volume alone should make him valuable this week.

$5,800 on DraftKings
$7,200 on FanDuel

Wide Receivers

CeeDee Lamb

The Lions give up the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers. The Cowboys play the Lions in Week 6. CeeDee Lamb plays for the Cowboys. This game has the highest over-under on the main slate of 52 points. I like Dak Prescott and Jalen Tolbert too. You can do some nice run-backs with Lions and Cowboys players in this one. Head up, move ‘em out. Play those Cowboys and Lions.

Drake London

We talked about Cousins earlier. London is one of the players Cousins is really building a chemistry with. London has a 25% target share of the Falcons’ passes. He has seen his target number grow each game this season. In Week 6 the Falcons play a Panthers defense that gives up the tenth most fantasy points to wide receivers. Drake is going to put a diss track together in this game for sure.

Jalen Tolbert

You can pass on the Lions. Brandin Cooks is now on injured reserve and that means Tolbert is the WR2 on the Cowboys. Last week in relief of Cooks, Tolbert led the team in targets with 10. He turned this into 7 receptions, 87 yards, and a touchdown. The Lions give up an average of 20 receptions, 218 yards, and a touchdown weekly to wide receivers. Both Lamb and Tolbert should smash this week.

$5,000 on DraftKings
$6,100 on FanDuel

Darnell Mooney

We talked about Cousins and London earlier. Now we can talk about Mooney. Mooney has a 33% target share of the Falcons passes on the season. In Week 5 he had 16 targets, which he turned into 9 receptions, 105 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Darnell to the Moon.

$6,500 on FanDuel

Jakobi Meyers

Jakobi Meyers has been dominating the target share of the Raiders’ passing attack with a 30% target share. Essentially, the passing tree branches are Blake Bowers and Jakobi Meyers with some Trey Tucker mixed in. With the quarterback change for the Raiders, I do not expect this to change much.

$5,700 on FanDuel

Tight Ends

Blake Bowers

Tight end is a tough position. Last week I talked about Bowers being a good play against the Broncos. This week is the Steelers. The Steelers also defend wide receivers well. Bowers had 12 targets, 8 receptions, 97 yards, and a touchdown in Week 5. HE should see a healthy number of targets again in Week 6. Bowers has a massive 30% target share of Raiders passes this season. Chase the volume.

$6,000 on DraftKings
$6,700 on FanDuel

DEF

Steelers

The Steelers play the Raiders in Week 6. The Raiders are making a change at quarterback which may help them some. But the Raiders are not good on offense and the Steelers are good on defense. Look for the Steller to put some sort of a curtain over the Raiders in Week 6.

$3,700 on DraftKings
$4,900 on FanDuel
