NFL Injury Report – Week 1

NFL Injury Report

Carolina Panthers

TE Tommy Tremble – OUT for Week 1 with a hamstring injury after missing practice.

Chicago Bears

WR Keenan Allen – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 with a heel injury, though he is expecting to play.

Cincinnati Bengals

WR Ja’Marr Chase (non-injury, illness) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 as he may not sign a contract in time for the opening kickoff. He has an illness attached to his status and says that he will be limited even if he does play.

WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) – DOUBTFUL for Week 1 with a hamstring injury after missing practice on Friday.

Indianapolis Colts

PK Matt Gay (hernia) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, and his insertion into the lineup will be decided 90 minutes before the opening kickoff.

WR Josh Downs (ankle) – OUT for Week 1 with an ankle injury.

Los Angeles Chargers

WR DJ Chark (hip) – OUT for Week 1 with a hip injury.

New England Patriots

RB Antonio Gibson (hip) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 with a hip injury, but he is trending toward playing.

Pittsburgh Steelers

QB Russell Wilson (calf) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 after feeling tightness at practice this week, and while his status won’t be known until this morning, the chances of him playing are very slim.

San Francisco 49ers

RB Christian McCaffrey (calf) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, but feels like he will be ready to play, but may not be able to handle a full workload.

Seattle Seahawks

WR Tyler Lockett (thigh) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 with a thigh injury, but is expected to play.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

WR Trey Palmer (concussion) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1 with a concussion, but he has practiced all week.

Tennessee Titans

WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) – QUESTIONABLE for Week 1, but he is trending toward playing, even in a reduced role.

NFL Injured Reserve/PUP

Carolina Panthers

TE Ian Thomas (calf) – placed on Injured Reserve and will miss at least the first four weeks of the season.

Cleveland Browns

RB Nick Chubb (knee) – placed on Injured Reserve and will miss at least four weeks of the season.

Los Angeles Chargers

WR DJ Chark (hip) – placed on Injured Reserve and will miss at least the first four weeks of the season.

Los Angeles Rams

TE Tyler Higbee (knee) – placed on the PUP List and will miss at least four weeks of the season.

Miami Marlins

WR Odell Beckham (undisclosed) – placed on the PUP List after having an offseason procedure unbeknownst to the Dolphins.

Minnesota Vikings

TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) – placed on the PUP List, but is targeting Week 6 of the regular season for a return.

New England Patriots

WR Kendrick Bourne (knee) – placed on the PUP List and will miss at least four weeks of the season.

New Orleans Saints

RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) – placed on Injured Reserve and will miss at least four weeks of the season.
