NFL Injury Report – Week 12

Here we are, post-Thanksgiving slate, and getting ready for the fantasy football postseason. NFL Injury Statuses

NFL Injured Reserve

The following players are out of action for an extended period of time and will not be helping fantasy football managers in the near future.

Arizona Cardinals

  • TE Zach Ertz is OUT for at least four weeks, but the plan is for him to return later in the season: Mike Garofalo

Baltimore Ravens

  • RB J.K. Dobbins is OUT for the season with an Achilles injury: Clifton Brown
  • TE Mark Andrews is OUT for at least four weeks with a cracked left fibula alongside some ligament damage, but there is an outside chance that he does in fact return before the end of the season: Adam Schefter

Buffalo Bills

  • TE Dawson Knox is OUT for Week 12, but there is some optimism that he will be back for Week 13: Joe Buscaglia

Cincinnati Bengals

  • QB Joe Burrow is OUT for the rest of the season, and he was officially placed on the Injured Reserve: Adam Schefter

Cleveland Browns

  • RB Nick Chubb is OUT for the season, and has now successfully had surgery on both his MCL and his ACL: Cleveland Browns
  • QB DeShaun Watson, who is OUT for the season due to a shoulder injury, recently had surgery to repair the ailment, and is expected to return for the start of the 2024 season: Mike Garofalo

Houston Texans

  • PK Ka’imi Fairbairn is OUT for at least four weeks with a quad injury: Adam Schefter

Indianapolis Colts

  • QB Anthony Richardson is OUT for the season, but had successful surgery this week: Jim Irsay

Los Angeles Chargers

  • WR Mike Williams is OUT for the season with a torn ACL, but is expected to be ready at the start of next year’s training camp: Ian Rapoport
  • WR Joshua Palmer is OUT for at least four weeks, and the team declined to say whether or not he would miss more time than that: Jeff Miller

Minnesota Vikings

  • WR Justin Jefferson, is QUESTIONABLE but he did practice in a limited fashion this week, drawing concerns that he may not be ready for Monday night’s game: Kevin Seifert
  • QB Kirk Cousins is OUT for the season after suffering a season-ending torn Achilles injury and successfully undergoing surgery, but he did have his cast removed: Kevin Seifert
  • RB Cam Akers is OUT for the season with a torn Achilles tendon: Minnesota Vikings

New England Patriots

  • WR Kendrick Bourne is OUT for the season after suffering an Achilles injury and undergoing surgery to repair it: Andrew Callahan

New Orleans Saints

  • WR Michael Thomas is OUT for at least the next four weeks with a “fairly significant” knee injury: Brooke Kirchhofer

New York Giants

  • PK Graham Gano is OUT for at least the next four weeks with a knee injury, though his ailment will require surgery and the expectation is that he will not return this season: Jordan Raanan
  • TE Darren Waller is OUT for at least four weeks, and he has already started the re-strengthening process of his recovery with jogging: Charlotte Carroll
  • QB Daniel Jones is OUT for the season with a knee injury, and is on track with a timeline of 8-10 weeks of recovery following successful surgery: Jordan Raanan

New York Jets

  • QB Aaron Rodgers is OUT for the season with an Achilles injury, he might be targeting mid-December as an estimated return time, though nothing is substantially set in stone: Mike Garofalo

  • WR Marquise Brown is QUESTIONABLE for this week’s game, though he is expected to play: Adam Schefter

Atlanta Falcons

Baltimore Ravens

  • WR Odell Beckham Jr. is QUESTIONABLE with a shoulder injury, but he is expected to play: Adam Schefter
  • WR Zay Flowers is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game, but he is expected to play: Adam Schefter

Chicago Bears

  • RB D’Onta Foreman is DOUBTFUL for Week 12 after being limited at practice on Friday: Adam Schefter

Cincinnati Bengals

  • WR Tee Higgins is OUT for Sunday’s game: Ben Baby

Houston Texans

  • RB Dameon Pierce is QUESTIONABLE for Week 12, but he is expected to play: Adam Schefter
  • WR Noah Brown is OUT for this week with a knee injury that will cost him his second consecutive game: Houston Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • WR Zay Jones is QUESTIONABLE to play as he has been limited at practice all week long: Adam Caplan

Los Angeles Rams

  • WR Cooper Kupp is QUESTIONABLE for Week 12 with an ankle injury, but it’s looking like he will in fact play: Stu Jackson

Minnesota Vikings

  • TE T.J. Hockenson is QUESTIONABLE for Monday’s game with a rib injury that left him as a limited participant at practice all week: Minnesota Vikings

New England Patriots

  • WR DeVante Parker is QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game with a concussion that made him limited at practice all week long: New England Patriots

New York Giants

  • WR Darius Slayton is DOUBTFUL with a neck injury that could cause him to miss Sunday’s game: Art Stapelton

Philadelphia Eagles

  • TE Dallas Goedert is OUT for this week’s game, but he is trending in the right direction after hitting on a cardio session and presenting himself as healing faster than originally expected: Josh Tolentino

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • RB Rachaad White is QUESTIONABLE, but, after being a late add to the team’s Injury Report, he is expected to play: Jeremy Fowler
