Week 11 might be described as statement week in both real-life NFL and in fantasy football. The Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Seattle Seahawks all made massive statements against rival teams. In fantasy football, the wide receivers and tight ends ruled the week with massive scores from players like Taysom Hill, Jonnu Smith, Brock Bowers, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ja’Marr Chase, and the LA Rams dynamic duo.
Like most weeks, Week 11 provided a number of unique and interesting usage notes for players as we approach the fantasy football playoffs.
This weekly piece will look at an interesting usage note for each team during every NFL week. If you have interesting usage notes, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter/X (@CableBoxScore) and let me know. Let’s dive into the NFL Week 11 usage!

ATLANTA FALCONS
Allgeier’s Disappearing Act
Tyler Allgeier was limited in practice with a quad injury last week but was deemed good to go for Week 11. However, he played just 7% of snaps in a blowout so we will need to see if this was injury-related, score-related, or Bijan Robinson taking a bigger role.
BALTIMORE RAVENS
Derrick Henry’s Role When Baltimore Trails
With the Ravens trailing much of this game to the Steelers, Derrick Henry ceded about half of the running back snaps to Justice Hill. They both played exactly 49% of snaps, but Henry got his touchdown of course.
BUFFALO BILLS
Khalil Shakir Becoming Target Hog
With 12 targets on Sunday, Khalil Shakir now has 38 in his last four games. Even with Amari Cooper returning in this game, Shakir continued to carve out a huge role for himself in the Bills’ offense.
CAROLINA PANTHERS

CHICAGO BEARS
Roschon Johnson Steps Up
Despite a very good game from D’Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson has carved out a role with Shane Waldron now out of town. Johnson played a season-high 41% of snaps and touched the ball 11 times for 41 yards and a score.
CINCINNATI BENGALS
Chase the Bell Cow of All Bell Cows
No other running back on the Cincinnati Bengals has touched the ball for more than two games now besides Chase Brown. He is playing more than 90% of the snaps and has three straight games with more than 21 touches.
CLEVELAND BROWNS
Jerome Ford’s Role When Cleveland Trails
With Cleveland down multiple scores for large chunks of the game against New Orleans, Jerome Ford found himself on the field instead of Nick Chubb. For played 56% of snaps and had four targets. Nick Chubb and Pierre Strong combined for zero.
DALLAS COWBOYS
Luke Schoonmaker Gets His Shot
When Jake Ferguson left Monday night’s game early with a concussion, tight end Luke Schoonmaker got his shot and did not disappoint. He had nine targets and frequently caught tough passes over the middle. Should Ferguson miss time, Schoonmaker would be a tight end streaming option for Week 12.
DENVER BRONCOS
Audric Estime Disappointment
Never trust Sean Payton. One week after rookie Audric Estime played 45% of snaps and had 16 touches, he was down to 23% of snaps against Atlanta and just nine touches. This includes Sean Payton telling the media that Estime was a player they wanted to continue to get more involved.
DETROIT LIONS
Gibbs and Montgomery Efficiency Monsters
Neither David Montgomery nor Jahmy Gibbs played more than 42% of the snaps in the rout of Jacksonville on Sunday. Yet somehow, both ended up with massive fantasy days and entered Monday Night Football as top-five running backs for the week.
GREEN BAY PACKERS
Anyone Seen Romeo Doubs?
Depite playing a team-high 78% of snaps, Romeo Doubs was completely absent from the offense against Chicago. He caught one pass for 17 yards and now has caught four or fewer passes in four of the last five weeks.
HOUSTON TEXANS
Nico Collins Returns to a Part-Time Role
After missing more than five games, Nico Collins returned to a role that was clearly one where the Texans wanted to ease him back in. He played 30 of 63 snaps and ran just 21 routes. Both Tank Dell and John Metchie had more. But after seven targets, four catches, and 54 yards, much bigger days are ahead for Collins.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Richardson Returns With Career Game
Anthony Richardson returned from this two-game benching to throw a career-high 272 passing yards. He also threw for one touchdown and rushed for two more, also tying a career-high. But perhaps most impressive was his accuracy. It has been a problem all season, but he completed 67% of his passes against the Jets.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Etienne Disappoints With Big Role
Despite a big, 75% of snaps role, Travis Etienne had 15 touches for just 33 yards in the loss to Detroit. Among the top ten running backs in 2024 offseason drafts, Travis Etienne has to be considered one of the biggest busts.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
12 Personnel Rules on Sunday
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Brock Bowers Record Breaker
Brock Bowers set all kinds of rookie records on Sunday with 16 targets, 13 receptions, 126 yards, and a touchdown. He now has 50% more targets than any other player on the Raiders. No two players on Las Vegas have more targets than Bowers this season.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Dobbins Getting Pulled at Goal Line
For two weeks in a row, Hassan Haskins has been given goal-line opportunities for the Chargers. JK Dobbins still got one as well, but it’s concerning to see Haskins have the same number of red zone touches as Dobbins in the last two weeks.
LOS ANGELES RAMS
Parkinson Steals Some TE Work
After weeks of Davis Allen looking like the top tight end for Los Angeles, Colby Parkinson returned and demanded some of the work. Parkinson played just 37% of snaps, but caught the one tight end reception all game and it went for a 19-yard touchdown.
MIAMI DOLPHINS
Jonnu Smith Explosion
The Miami Dolphins finally stopped dancing around the promise of using Jonnu Smith and just unleashed him. Smith played a season-high 81% of snaps and caught six balls for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Cam Akers Claims the Goal Line
Aaron Jones is slowly losing his primary role to Cam Akers and CJ Ham, and Akers is the one getting the goal-line work lately. Akers now has five red zone touches in the last two games and he is the one who got the short touchdown against the Titans in Week 11.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Kayshon Boutte WR1 Role
Apparently, Kayshow Boutte is going to get six targets every single game without fail. This was his fourth game in a row with that exact number, and he is now the team leader in snap rate over the last six weeks.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
MVS Continues to Grow His Role
For the third straight week, Marquez Valdes-Scantling saw his snap share increase for New Orleans. Up to 65% of snaps played last week, MVS has now scored three touchdowns in his last eight quarters played.
NEW YORK GIANTS
New York Did Not Play in Week 11
Coach Daboll: We are making a quarterback switch from Daniel Jones to Tommy DeVito. After evaluating and watching a lot of tape, that's the reason we are going with Tommy. Drew Lock will be the backup. This was a necessary move for us and I'm looking forward to working with Tommy… pic.twitter.com/OTPmSCIq0P

NEW YORK JETS
Hall Pass Working Again
After some disappointing games, Breece Hall finally delivered for fantasy managers. One of the many reasons he had such a good day was the fact that he saw seven targets, the most he has seen since Week 7. He now is second on the team with 61 targets this season.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Dallas Goedert is Finally Back
Dallas Goedert played more than 80% of snaps and saw at least five targets for the first time since Week 3. The result was a strong five-catch, 61-yard game to show he is back and ready to contribute in this offense.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Mike Willams Growth
Mike Williams saw his playing time increase from 12% of snaps in Week 10 to 32% of snaps in Week 11. He is still struggling to get targets, but he took snaps away from Calvin Austin and Van Jefferson in this game.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Jauan Jennings a New Number One Option
With Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle out and Deebo Samuel struggling mightily, Jauan Jennings has stepped up and taken over the WR1 role in San Francisco. He has 22 targets in his last two games and led all skill players with 95% of snaps played.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
AJ Barner Steps Up
With Noah Fant out, AJ Barner played 85% of snaps and saw four targets. He now has 11 targets in his last four games and is a sneaky tight end sleeper.

TENNESSEE TITANS
Pollard Likely Going Back Up
With Tyjae Spears going into concussion protocol on Sunday, that likely means a return to a full-time role for Tony Pollard is Spears misses time. When Spears was out in Weeks 7-9, Pollard played more than 80% of snaps every game.
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Backfield Even Split
In a close game throughout most of the contest against Philadelphia, Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler Both played 53% of Washington’s snaps. Ekeler had the yards, but Robinson dominated the touches and got the goal-line score for Washington.
