In Daily Fantasy Basketball, it’s really hard to find cheap players that produce! Without them, you can’t win the big money because the stars cost so much. Here is a look at 13 players to think about when filling out the bottom of your roster in Daily Fantasy Basketball for the playoffs:

He played in 76 games (18 starts) for the Raptors during the regular season in 2016-17 in which he averaged 18.0 minutes, 8.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The Raptors are in a knock down drag out war with the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs and Powell has shined when given the opportunity to play. He has played in 4 games (2 starts) for the Raptors in the playoffs this year and he is averaging 22.3 minutes, 13.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Look for Powell to get more minutes in this series moving forward.
Joe Ingles, SG/SF, Utah Jazz – Joe Ingles was a sharpshooter off of the bench for the Jazz in 2016-17, as he shot 44.1% from three point range. He played in 82 games (26 starts) during the regular season for the Jazz in 2016-17 and he averaged 24.0 minutes, 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Ingles has been starting at shooting guard for the Jazz in the playoffs so far. He has played in 4 games (all starts) in the playoffs and he is averaging 34.4 minutes, 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He is shooting 40.7% from three-point range in the playoffs. Look for him to continue getting big minutes for the Jazz in the playoffs.
Greg Monroe, PF/C, Milwaukee Bucks – Monroe is one of the highest paid bench players in the NBA and he would start for a lot of teams. He played in 81 games (0 starts) for the Bucks during the regular season and he averaged 22.5 minutes, 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Monroe is taking his game to a new level in the playoffs so far. He has played in 5 games (0 starts) for the Bucks in the playoffs and he is averaging 23.5 minutes, 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
Tony Snell, SF, Milwaukee Bucks – Snell was a pretty efficient shooter for the Bucks during the regular season, as he hit 45.5% from the floor, 40.6% from three point range and 81% from the free throw line. He played in 80 games (all starts) during the regular season for the Bucks and he averaged 29.2 minutes, 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. In the playoffs, he has played even better for the Bucks this year. Snell has played in 5 games (all starts) in the playoffs and he is averaging 30.7 minutes, 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. He is 16 for 30 (53.3%) shooting from 3-point range in the playoffs so far.
Taurean Waller-Prince, SF, Atlanta Hawks – 23-year old Taurean Waller-Prince didn’t do too much during his rookie season in the NBA. He played in 59 games (10 starts) for the Hawks during the regular season in 2016-17 and he averaged 16.6 minutes, 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He only shot 39.9% from the floor during the regular season. But, he has been moved into the starting lineup in the playoffs and he has responded well. He has played in 4 games (all starts) for the Hawks in the playoffs so far and he is averaging 30.6 minutes, 13.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He is shooting 63.9% from the floor, 50.0% from three point range and 100% in the playoffs this year!
JaVale McGee, C, Golden State Warriors – McGee was a solid backup when he got to play for the Warriors in 2016-17. He played in 77 games (10 starts) for the Warriors during the regular season and he averaged 9.6 minutes, 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 0.9 blocked shots per game. So far in the playoffs, he has been awesome in his limited minutes! He has played in 4 games (0 starts) for the Warriors in the playoffs and he is averaging 12.2 minutes, 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 2.3 blocked shots per game. He is an amazing 18 of 23 (78.3%) shooting from the floor (a lot of put backs and dunks) and he is 3 for 4 (75%) from the free-throw line, where he only hit 50.5% during the regular season.
[the_ad id=”693″]Vince Carter, SF/SG, Memphis Grizzlies – 40-year old Vince Carter is one of my favorite players to watch as he still has moments when you think he is still in his 20’s due to nasty dunks! He played in 73 games (15 starts) for the Grizzlies during the regular season and he averaged 24.6 minutes, 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Carter has moved into the starting lineup for the Grizzlies to replace Tony Allen (who is injured) for the first round of the playoffs. Carter has played in 3 games (all starts) in the playoffs and he is averaging 32.6 minutes, 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He is shooting 50% from the floor so far in the playoffs for the Grizzlies!
Lou Williams, SG, Houston Rockets – Lou Williams is a modern day version of Vinnie “The Microwave” Johnson of the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons, as he comes off the bench shooting the rock! Williams played in 81 games (1 start) combined during the regular season for the Rockets and Lakers in which he averaged 24.6 minutes, 17.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Williams is off to a red-hot start in the playoffs for the Rockets! He has played in 4 games (0 starts) in the playoffs this year and he is averaging 27.3 minutes, 18.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He is shooting 47.2% from the floor, 43.8% from three point range and 83.3% from the free throw line in the playoffs so far.
Nene’, PF/C, Houston Rockets – The Rockets watched Nene’s playing time during the regular season to have him healthy and fresh for the playoffs. Nene’ played in 67 games (8 starts) during the regular season for the Rockets this year and he averaged 17.9 minutes, 9.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. He has taken his game to a new, much higher level in the playoffs! He has played in 4 games (0 starts) in the playoffs this year and he is averaging 21.0 minutes, 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. He is shooting an amazing 23 of 25 (92%) from the floor so far in the playoffs!
Patrick Beverley, PG, Houston Rockets – Patrick Beverley does his best work on D, but he has been solid offensively in the playoffs too so far this year. Beverley played in 67 games (all starts) for the Rockets during the regular season and he averaged 30.7 minutes, 9.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He has played in 4 games (all starts) in the playoffs this year for the Rockets and he is averaging 27.9 minutes, 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
Andre Roberson, SF, Oklahoma City Thunder – In his first four years in the NBA, Roberson has been on the court for his defense. He played in 79 games (all starts) for the Thunder last year and he averaged 30.1 minutes, 6.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocked shot per game. Roberson has taken his game to a new level in the playoffs! He has played in 4 games (all starts) in the playoffs and he is averaging 37.1 minutes, 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.5 blocked shots per game! Roberson is shooting 59% from the floor and 50% from three point range in the playoffs, which is impressive. But, he has been getting hacked a lot by the Rockets and he is only shooting 2 for 17 (11.8%) from the free-throw line in the first round of the playoffs.
Luc Mbah a Moute, SF, Los Angeles Clippers – During the regular season, Luc Mbah a Moute was only needed to play defense and rebound for the Clippers. He played in 80 games (76 starts) for the Clippers during the regular season and he averaged 22.3 minutes, 6.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He has seen his playing time rise due to injuries (Blake Griffin) in the playoffs. He has played in 4 games (all starts) in the playoffs for the Clippers and he is averaging 35.9 minutes, 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 steal per game.
Joe Johnson, SG/SF, Utah Jazz – Joe Johnson reminds me of Ray Allen when he was with the Miami Heat at the end of his career. He played in 78 games (14 starts) during the regular season for the Jazz and he averaged 23.6 minutes, 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. The Jazz signed Johnson for his leadership and the fact that they thought he would step up the bigger the games got for them! So far, so good! Johnson has played in 4 games (0 starts) this year in the playoffs and he is averaging 32.3 minutes, 19.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Johnson is shooting 55.9% from the floor, 35.3% from the three point line and 83.3% from the free throw line in the playoffs! He has taken the most shots (59) in the playoffs for the Jazz so far as Gordon Hayward (57) and George Hill (51) slightly trail him!
