Football season is less than a week away, meaning the fantasy football season is almost here. With a busy fantasy football draft week ahead, here are my rest of season 2020 fantasy football PPR rankings by position. These rankings assume a lineup of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one or two flex spots.
Over the last week, the biggest movers include Leonard Fournette, Antonio Gibson, Ronald Jones II, and Adrian Peterson. Fournette dropped in the rankings after being released, then signed with the Buccaneers. As of now, Fournette ranks in a safer range with uncertainties so close to the season. Gibson’s stock is rising with the increased chances for touches and opportunities in rushing attempts and targets. Each week, my updated rest of season 2020 fantasy football PPR rankings will be up on FantraxHQ with highlights at each position.

Rest of Season Fantasy Football PPR Rankings
Quarterbacks
The quarterback position is deep, and with that, I typically take the late-round quarterback approach. If you prefer taking a quarterback earlier, then the QB3 – QB11 presents must-starts most weeks. I love Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, and Deshaun Watson, as they all provide the rushing floor paired with the high-end passing ability. The later-round values include Cam Newton, Jared Goff, Gardner Minshew, and Joe Burrow. In deeper leagues, Philip Rivers, Tyrod Taylor, and Dwayne Haskins present great deep league values, but better suited as streamers.
Running Back
After the first eight running backs, there’s a group from RB9 – RB16 that could shuffle around in any order. Then from RB17 – RB 37, those running backs have a bit more risk with the potential to jump up in the RB2 range. After that, there’s a mix of satellite backs, backups, and more. On a side note, Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the one running back that may move up in my rankings.
I’m a bit higher on Antonio Gibson of the Washington Football team in my rest of season 2020 fantasy football PPR rankings due to his Speed Score and double-digit target share in college. Amongst running backs with a similar Speed Score, 40-yard dash, and college target share, Gibson ranks near Saquon Barkley and Jonathan Taylor. Speed Score is a good predictor of running back success since it factors in their weight and 40-yard dash. The main difference between Gibson, Barkley, and Taylor would be their college production.

With the Buccaneers signing Leonard Fournette, he slots in the RB3 range due the season closing in and uncertainties in the backfield with Ronald Jones. I’m a fan of Fournette and expect to move him up my rankings after the first week or two. On the flip side, Ronald Jones drops because Fournette can handle a workhorse role if given the opportunity.
Wide Receiver
Due to the depth at wide receiver, it’s hard to go wrong with the first 10-12 wide receivers. Some of my favorite value wide receivers in my rest of season 2020 fantasy football PPR rankings include Tyler Boyd, Michael Gallup, D.J. Chark. Gallup produced similarly to his teammate Amari Cooper, yet their ADP tends to be 40 picks apart.
When healthy, Will Fuller and Preston Williams in the later rounds have the potential to be weekly starters in deeper leagues. Most of these wide receivers mentioned ended up in my breakout wide receivers and post-hype sleepers articles. With the extreme depth at wide receiver, I typically wait at this position.
Tight End
After the first five tight ends, there’s a large glob from TE6 – TE 20. To rank in the top-12 amongst tight ends, these players need to receive 80 targets or more. Hayden Hurst, T.J. Hockenson, Dallas Goedert, and Blake Jarwin are my favorite tight ends in the TE6 – TE 20 range.
