Captain
Tyreek Hill
DraftKings Captain Salary- $18,000
You tell me why Tyreek Hill shouldn’t be in your captain slot? Go ahead, I’ll wait. The All-Pro wide receiver has been going bonkers this season, already racking up 42 catches for 814 yards and 6 touchdowns. It’s Week 6 and Hill is only 186 away from a 1,000-yard season. Now that’s special! Sure, Hill is the most expensive option by $1,100. I’m here to tell you that he’s worth the investment.

Tyreek has not let us down this season. Hill has put up double-digit DraftKings points in each game this season. More impressive is the fact that Hill only has two games this season in which he scored under 30 points. The Philadelphia Eagles secondary has allowed at least 85 yards to the top WR in their last three matchups. The Eagles DST represents the 5th friendliest fantasy matchup for wide receivers. Tyreek Hill’s dominance should continue tonight on SNF.
Core Play
Jalen Hurts
DraftKings Salary- $11,400
The tush-push, the brotherly shove, whatever you call it, Jalen Hurts is good for at least one hundred of them a game. While that’s clearly an exaggeration, the point remains the same. Other teams have attempted the same play but with far less success than the Eagles. With such a dominant O-Line and QB with elite leg drive, the brotherly shove has been a staple of the Eagles’ short-yardage game and a big part of Hurts’ fantasy production this season.
Just ask anyone who rosters D’Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell, or any other Eagles running back. When the ball is on the one-yard line, expect the QB sneak. In addition to the plentiful short-yardage opportunities, Hurts has really been melding with his top receiver AJ Brown. The WR1 got off to a slow start this season but has since heated up to the tune of four straight 125+ yard performances. Hurts and Brown could make that five straight if the pair stays hot tonight on SNF.
Value
Devonta Smith
DraftKings Salary- $7,400
Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith, Braxton Berrios. That’s the order that DraftKings has these three WRs priced for SNF. The fact that Smith is the last WR before such a drastic drop-off is puzzling. While the former Heisman winner hasn’t produced quite like AJ Brown has, he’s still a dog in his own right. Miami’s pass defense has struggled this season, so Smith definitely has an exploitable matchup tonight.

Devonta Smith was targeted a season-high 11 times in last week’s loss to the New York Jets. Those 11 targets were converted into 5 catches for just 44 yards. Smith has also been kept out of the end zone in four straight games after scoring in back-to-back games to begin the season. Smith could bounce back on SNF tonight when he faces a Miami DST that has allowed 5 passing TDs in the last three games.
Sleeper
Jeff Wilson Jr.
DraftKings Salary- $200
Yesterday, the Miami Dolphins activated Jeff Wilson Jr. (finger) off injured reserve. Wilson practiced without any limitations every session this week. There’s a pretty decent chance that Wilson will leapfrog Salvon Ahmed (6-23-1 last week) immediately upon making his debut. If that holds true, his $200 DK dollars becomes an absolute steal. The Dolphins have had two different running backs score in three of their last four games. If Wilson is able to take the plunge into the end zone on SNF then he’ll have paid back his salary and then some.
SNF Bust
Raheem Mostert
DraftKings Salary- $9,800
I know what you’re thinking. You just told me to play Jeff Wilson, but I shouldn’t play Raheem Mostert? Here’s why. Price, price baby. Jeff Wilson only needs a couple of catches out of the backfield or a decent run to pay off his salary. At $9,800, Raheem Mostert needs much, much more. Against a stout Philadelphia defensive line, I’m not sure that he gets there.
Raheem Mostert has been popping off this season, scoring multiple touchdowns in three games this season. Not playing him is going to be a scary thing for those who choose to fade him on SNF, but there’s reason to doubt him tonight. Starting running backs are only averaging 12 attempts per game against the Eagles DST. In games this season with 12 attempts or fewer this season Mostert has produced 65 yards, 9 yards, and 37 yards. Mostert could be fool’s gold tonight.
