NBA Eastern Conference Preview

Less than two weeks. That’s all we have left until we have regular season basketball. Finally. This week I’ll take a look at the Eastern Conference, split into tiers and next week it will be the Western Conference’s turn. First up, a very obvious top two. Tier One 1. Cleveland Cavaliers 2. Boston Celtics This is the championship contender tier. Realistically, you could put the Cavaliers in this tier alone, but I’ll give Boston the benefit of the doubt. Five Fantasy Busts for the 2017-2018 Season

This week we’ll take a look at some potential fantasy busts in the upcoming NBA season. Some of these guys are still worth drafting, but won’t meet the expectations that have been set for them. Generally speaking, I’d avoid taking these guys unless they really plummet on draft day. The division took a hit this summer as the Pacers and Bulls lost their superstars. Luckily for fantasy owners, moves like that can create opportunities for other talent. Whether it's from incoming players or veterans who will have more of an impact, superstar trades will always create fantasy…

NBA Playoff Preview: Breaking Down the Contenders

The NBA has always been an extremely top heavy league: The last four champions and seven out of the last nine have been number one seeds. In fact, since the New York Knicks made the 1999 finals as an 8 seed only two teams (#4 seed Boston Celtics in 2010 and #4 seed Dallas Mavericks in 2006) have made the finals as a team seeded fourth or below. This all holds true again this season as there are only a handful of teams with legit shots at hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy. Eastern Conference Cleveland Cavaliers The…
