We are lucky once again as we begin the Week 11 with a great matchup. There’s another divisional matchup on tap this week with two of the most exciting quarterbacks in the league. We get another look at Jalen Hurts in primetime and this time he goes against an exciting rookie in Jayden Daniels. Let’s hope they don’t disappoint as we should have an exciting matchup between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are favored by 3.5 points, and with an over/under of 48.5 points, we should have an exciting game. Let’s jump into some Thursday Night Football DFS picks with preferences ranked within each category.
Thursday Night Football DFS Picks – Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Captain
Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
From a passing perspective, Jalen Hurts hasn’t had an especially dominant season. He is averaging just 220 passing yards per game with only 12 passing touchdowns in nine games. However, a lot of the problem there is caused by a touchdown vulture on the ground. The good news though, is that Hurts is that vulture.
So far this season, he has 378 rushing yards, but it’s his 10 touchdowns that really make a difference. We that there will be a lot of points scored tonight, and Hurts figures to be involved in most, if not all, of them on the Eagles side. The closer the game the better as Hurts was hurt last week by Philadelphia’s blowout victory.
Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
If it’s not Hurts involved in scoring plays for the Eagles, then that likely means that it’s Saquon Barkley who will be. It has been a successful first season in Philadelphia for Barkley who is averaging 5.8 yards per carry. As he enters his 10th game of the season, Barkley needs just nine yards to hit the 1,000-yard mark.
Barkley has added 158 yards through the air on 21 catches while also finding the end zone nine times. He continues to have a substantial role in Philadelphia’s offense and that will continue tonight.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders
Initially, Washington eased Jayden Daniels into action over the first few weeks of the season. As Daniels has developed, his chemistry with Terry McLaurin has increased and the receiver’s production has followed suit. It’s clear that McLaurin has become the number one receiver in Washington and he continues to be a large part of the Commanders’ offense.
McLaurin is two yards short of breaking the 100-yard mark in three of his last four games and has 711 yards on the season. He has six touchdowns on the season and Washington will need him to keep up with the Eagles.
AJ Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
The good news is that AJ Brown proved he is healthy last week. Philadelphia’s blowout victory over Dallas didn’t lend itself to the Eagles opening things up downfield, but Brown still finished with 109 receiving yards on five catches. Even when taking into account a 36-yard game when Brown was injured, he is still averaging 92 yards per game. It’s difficult to find that level of consistency from receivers.
Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders
A week after returning from a rib injury, the hope is that Jayden Daniels is healthier tonight. Last week, Daniels only carried the ball three times for five yards. Overall, Daniels has 464 rushing yards with four touchdowns as a large part of his production does come on the ground.
Ultimately though, it’s going to be the production through the air that we need from Daniels tonight. The Eagles do well to defend the run and Daniels will need to keep up with Hurts through the air.
Noah Brown, WR, Washington Commanders
When defenses focus on McLaurin, Noah Brown generally steps up. Over the past three games, Brown was targeted 19 times and caught 11 passes for 166 yards. At this point, Brown has emerged as the number two receiver from Washington and Daniels appears to be increasingly comfortable with him.
Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles
The good news is that Dallas Goedert is back on the field for the Eagles. Health doesn’t appear to be an issue for the tight end who caught his first touchdown of the year last week. The game script didn’t support Goedert being targeted more than three times, but we have seen him play a large role in the Eagles’ offense when on the field.
Value
Olamide Zaccheaus, WR, Washington Commanders
While Olamide Zaccheaus might not play an incredibly large role with Washington, he is technically their third receiver. The consistency part of Zaccheaus is there as he does have a role with the Commanders. He hasn’t found the end zone this season, but the upside is there if he breaks a long catch.
Fade
Brian Robinson, RB, Washington Commanders
Brian Robinson has been a workhorse for the Commanders this season, but he is sharing a backfield with Austin Ekeler. That makes it more difficult to project which running back to target. It also doesn’t help Robinson’s cause that the Eagles allow the second fewest DFS points to opposing running backs.
