NBA mid-season is quickly approaching, making it an excellent time to revisit our fantasy basketball dynasty rankings.
In a dynasty league format, team owners retain a good portion of their players from year-to-year. While every league is slightly different, the strategy remains the same: identify and acquire players with high upside, advantageous playing-time situations, and long careers ahead of them. Typically younger budding stars shoot towards the top of the rankings while aging veteran stars sink towards the bottom. It is easy to overvalue potential or overstate the effect of age, team situation, or effect of an injury.
